Bards Logic Political Talk interviewed Mark Henkel - Part 12 - Aug 2021

from National Polygamy Advocate · host Mark Henkel

National Polygamy Advocate ™ Mark Henkel was interviewed on Bards Logic Political Talk, a 3-hour show hosted by Robert Jetter Jr. (this episode is Part 12) on August 4, 2021. The complete show lasted 3 hours long. For this podcast, the entire show has been subdivided into several parts. In this Part 12, which is the final part, Mark Henkel explained how this "larger issue" of "Imposerism" also helps the cause of UCAP, Unrelated Consenting Adult Polygamy.   This also includes some imprtant soundbites.  The co-panelist asked Mark Henkel, "Do you believe socialism is forced compassion?"  Mark Henkel replied, "No. I don't believe it's compassion at all."  The co-panelist said that he loved that reply, positively laughed, and exclaimed that it was the best response he'd ever heard for that question.  Mark Henkel went on to explain that he believes in the Individual - not the collective, not the majority, not the "borg" - saying that "socialism is a collectivism that crushes the Individual."  Pointing out that "We are NOT a Democracy," he added the powerful sound-bite, “If I don’t think 70%, 80%, or even 90% of other people are smart enough to make a decision for my life, I sure do not believe that 51% are smart enough either.”  He explained that his new term "Disimposerizing is a deeper level of kindness; and that deeper level of kindness is an even deeper level of love."  He continued to say, "If I can help people see through the lens of Disimposerizing" - whether from the political LEFT or from the RIGHT - not only will people see how not to Impose on others for other issues, but they will understand how not to impose on UCAP, Unrelated Consenting Adult Polygamy too. The co-panelist later friendly-teased Mark Henkel, "Are you trying to Impose polygamy?"  The host interjected with a creative analogy of his own making, "No, it's an option.  If you only want one of two  cookies, you can still choose only one cookie."  But others can be free to choose more. Mark Henkel affirmed that host's excellent analogy.  The co-panelist re-iterated his interest in the "Imposerism" topic, and the host declared that he accepted both (saying, "I’m in for both") topics of liberty from Mark Henkel, both UCAP polygamy and the "larger issue" of self-removing one's "Imposerism."  Both the host and the co-panelist stated how much they were looking forward to Mark Henkel coming back on the show to discuss the latter “larger issue” of “Imposerism.”  This episode is the final part of this 3-hour interview. http://www.NationalPolygamyAdvocate.com
