Mark Henkel also detailed the steps to the passage of a Utah State law in May, 2020, that reduced the charge of bigamy from a felony down to an infraction (like a parking ticket). Then Mark Henkel shared how the beginning of what he called "Covid1984" had so occupied the news cycle of the year 2020 that pro-polygamists were denied a "victory lap" in the media about that new Utah law.
