Barlow-Massicks House Fire Cause Determined

Send us a text and chime in!The Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority (CAFMA) has concluded its investigation into the residential structure fire that occurred on 4th Street in Prescott Valley on May 2, 2026. The fire has been determined to be accidental in nature and likely originated from the use of one of the fireplaces in the residence. Crews from CAFMA and the Prescott Fire Department were dispatched to the fire at approximately 3:18 p.m. and encountered a two-story home with flames showing from the roof upon arrival.
