In which the neighbouring villages hear tales of tumult and disorder in the city, and though some stubbornly dismiss the accounts as mere fancy, others set out with a brave intent to witness the truth for themselves. Amidst the hush of night, a clamorous mob descends upon the unsuspecting inn, turning its quiet bar into a wild scene of uproar and folly, whilst the innkeeper, bewildered and captive, looks on in a strange daze.
