Barriers to Progress - Fear and Pride

As we strive to live in better alignment with Heavenly Father's will for us, to allow the Spirit into our lives, we begin to desire a honest walk in keeping the commandments. The spirit is with us more frequently and in greater abundance, and we begin to make the important decision to turn our wills’ and lives’ over to the complete care of God.How do we keep this newfound, or discovered anew, desire to ‘come, more fully, unto Him’? The answer of course is, to be like Him and with Him in all things. As we embark on this wonderful journey, we find that our 'humanness' is still alive and healthy. The effects of the Fall have not been fully mitigated (that won't happen in this life btw) and staying committed to repenting to 'come unto Him' is not always easy. Why?Let's take a look at the way we are all subjected to the problems associated with fear and pride in our 'putting on the atonement of Jesus Christ’.
