In HeroQuest: Barrow of the Beastmen – The Forest of Shadows, Episode 1, our Daddy of the Arcane Lore steps out from behind the screen to join the girls in the thick of the action. Taking on the roles of Nuggy the Barbarian Queen, Morgan the wondering Druid, and the Orc bard Gjord, the party finds themselves ambushed while escorting a magical relic along with a detachment of Imperial guardsmen through the treacherous Forest of Shadows. With goblin brigands swarming from the undergrowth and the escort in disarray, survival becomes the first priority. The woodland itself feels hostile, the path uncertain, and the enemy far from finished. Cut off, outnumbered, and deep in cursed territory, the party must locate any survivors and carve a path to safety—before the forest claims them as just another forgotten tale.
