Send me a text!Length: 1 hour 14 minutesSynopsis: Last week I gave an "NR" shiur on a pervasive FALSE explanation of what we mean when we call Hashem "Ha'Makom." (That shiur isn't available online, but if you want a link to the video, let me know and I'll send it to you.) This evening (4/7/22), in our tefilah shiur, we attempted to arrive at a TRUE understanding - one which is consistent with the yesodei ha'Torah, the Mesorah, and reason. I believe we succeeded. (I guess you'll tell me!) We then attempted to explain why we use this unusual name of God in the Haggadah. Did we succeed? You tell me! And if you have a better answer, please do share! ----------מקורות:הגדה של פסחירושלמי מכות ג:יגבראשית רבה סח:טרמב"ם – משנה תורה: ספר המדע, הלכות יסודי התורה א:א-דהכתב והקבלה – שמות לג:כאהגדה של פסח לריטב"אספר אבודרהם סדר ההגדה ופירושההגדה של פסח לרשב"ץ----------This week's Torah content has been sponsored by Ann, who (against my will) asked that it be sponsored in honor of me.
