BASDEHEN Kitchen Faucets Can Poison Your Water. These faucets contain lead and other contaminants that can leach into water at levels harmful to infants and young children. Lead ingestion can cause serious neurological effects, including attention-related behavioral problems, decreased cognitive performance, and lower IQ. Approximately 24,000 units were sold nationwide. Stop using these faucets. Until you install a replacement, only drink water after running the faucet for at least 15 seconds.
