Basic Fantasy Episode 40

The Silver Guard returns to the ruined church to recover the relics needed to repair the broken ward, but nothing is ever simple with this group. Before they can leave, old promises must be made, fallen enemies must be cleared away, and a mysterious weapon begins raising questions of its own. Back in town, the High Keeper prepares a dangerous ritual while the party handles restless guards, magical equipment, and more distractions than anyone has time for. By nightfall, the ward is restored, but only partially, and the threat hanging over the town is far from over.
