BAT and the Mother Wound

How has motherhood touched you? What wounds do you carry with you? If you're a mother, what expectations have you accepted from society that do not align with who you are? What about as a child? We all have mother wounds that need healing. 

As we sit in Circle today, we will consider the mother wounds that we carry as individuals, as a community, and as a culture. We will look to the animal kingdom and learn from Bat and reflect on Quokka as we navigate what wounds need healing. There are great lessons to learn from these beings. We all have different stories. Let us learn from one another without assumption.  

I'm exploring: 

• How to build sacred relationships with each other and other kingdoms 
• The interactions between kingdoms, how each one is unique and sacred
• What we can learn from how Bat has adapted over time and what that means for our journey
• The mythos of Batman and the weight of trying to heal through revenge 
• An inviting meditation: We'll look at what motherhood stories we're still hanging onto and we'll find our place between the differing examples of Bat and Quokka as we consider their survival and ours.
