Do you remember, around 15 years ago, when Bat For Lashes first broke onto the scene? This Pakistani-British singer created haunting, dramatic music. She descended from a squash playing dynasty, and her music inhabited an otherworldly quality in the indie music scene.In 2012 she had a huge hit with “Laura”, and a few months later when she was in Australia to tour, I invited her to Take 5.
