We're at 1901 Speakeasy hanging out with general manager Jared Krupp getting the skinny on all things mixology, prohibition-era drinks, and what it's like being behind the bar. We talk about the history of 1901 Speakeasy; it's prior iterations as a bar, and how Jared got involved with the project. Jared discusses his past in the bar and service industry, how being a teacher has helped him as a bartender, the importance of fresh ingredients, how to balance flavors in a drink, why gin and whiskey were so crucial to prohibition, and the secret to being a good bartender.
