To the uninitiated, the Batgirl mantle might just seem like the female-version of the Robin mantle. But that couldn’t be further from the truth.  We start this two-part series exploring the most well known Batgirl, Barbara Gordon and her journey from the daughter of a Police Commissioner to Batgirl then to Oracle and back to Batgirl.
