Batman Returns (SNES) Retro Review feat. Dario
With Matt Reeves and Robert Pattinson's The Batman finally swooping into theatres this weekend, we figured it was time to dust off one of the classic Batman videogames from a bygone era. There were so many games to choose from, but the heavily stylized, relatively well-received nature of Batman Returns made this one a great option. But just because it was thought of as one of the better licensed games on the Super Nintendo at the time doesn't mean it'll hold up in 2022. With the likes of games such as Arkham Asylum and Arkham Knight gracing our consoles in recent years, is there any room for a generic beat-em-up dressed in a cape and a cowl? Before getting to the gameplay we sit down with our friend Dario (@Brains4BRKFST) to take some time to give our first impressions on Elden Ring, and talk about our favourite Batman properties of all time!
