Batman: The Killing Joke- The Origin of the Joker (if it's actually canon)

In this weeks episode, Spooky Season kicks of with Ryan making Jamie read Batman: The Killing Joke (because homicidal clowns are kinda Halloween-ish). Written by Alan Moore, art by Brian Bolland and colours by John Higgins (or not, depending on the version). They also go over the different colourings of the different versions of the comic, Alan Moore's original, unhinged script, and how this influenced modern superhero stories. Timecodes00:00 - Intro04:18 - Moore's Original, Unhinged Script11:27 - Comic Credits & Starting with the Arting17:58 - Jamie Hasn't Seen Breaking Bad20:40 - Back to the Arting36:21 - Full Story with Spoilers58:00 - Tangent on Joaquin Phoenix and Music Biopics1:00:07 - Back to the Comic1:10:04 - The Modern Retcon1:11:45 - Content Consumption CornerYouTube- https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_2GA9q40JoBmnbOrkjGuJg Apple Podcasts- https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-comic-literate-podcast/id1670647884 Spotify- https://open.spotify.com/show/4hd5lO43gSZyyh5UEmcq2U?si=NOE0uX4iRHWGDwIoCRfndQ Google Podcasts- https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9mZWVkcy50cmFuc2lzdG9yLmZtL3RoZS1jb21pYy1saXRlcmF0ZS1wb2RjYXN0Pocket Casts- https://pca.st/r8b1cyg7
