Battle Creek/Kalamazoo United Way To Maintain Local Focus After Merger With Lansing, Jackson

Chris Sargent, President and CEO at the United Way of the Battle Creek and Kalamazoo Region, is no stranger to mergers. In 2012, both cities merged their United Way organizations into one non-profit in order to pool resources while focusing on the needs of the community.Now, Sargent will bring that perspective to a new merger with the Capital Area United Way in Lansing and the United Way of Jackson County.
