The new to the world Wednesday February 22 once again I'm your car responders and world capitals and the fighting zones in the West Pacific I like to give you the latest news direct by thought wave radio and out for new tomorrow West coast We take you to Los Angeles and the report of Byron Palmer And the aircraft guns wanted to action against our not on fire craft in the Los Angeles area Welcome to Dana brain on Brent. I'm Dan. What is up, man? Did you say the whole thing that I miss that was I'm not paying attention I think I just had welcome to Dana brand it.

I think so what would ever look like with an umbrella in a st Patty's day, which means yesterday was sent out as a way. Yeah, are you green? I'm a little green from you? Yeah, you feel a little green How do you feel with the green beer if you like it's not so funny?

I drink but like lime cine green can all right I think that counts and also crown royal apple which has a green label crown royal apple I think I've had that isn't that kind of like a like a sour apple pucker, but like it tastes a little shittier Yeah, cuz it's crown royal because it's one did Canadian whiskey. Yeah, so Yeah, I'm not doing too bad my voice is probably a little rough. You're fine. You're sure you're sounds fine too.

Yeah, I wasn't up till six You're half one of those where you just like like I slept for like an hour on the chair and Terry was getting tired like we're both kind of like On the couch and then just like I get your second win and you're like second win like we both got a second win at like 3 30 in the morning and we're just like that's how many a second win sweet wide awake Well, I guess let's watch another movie Then I couldn't tell you what it was Yeah, I do that a lot like a you know play video games like 11 or something then go to get in bed I'm just gonna put on some background noise and then I end up watching a full two hour movie. Don't do that. Yeah Yeah, I've had to figure that out like If I've been doing something very stimulant or stimulating yeah, and then try to go straight to bed It doesn't work. Yeah, but it works better than going straight to bed and like oh well read until I fall asleep Or all you know it's the worst thing of all time browse the internet until I've all sleep Yeah, which works fine if you're reading actually, you mean you're just gonna shine some bright lights into eyeballs Yeah full of information fun tidbits.

Yeah fun facts. Oh man All right, that's it guys Now what would you for St. Petter's name you go to a bar and go to part? I just went to a friend's house.

Yeah, yeah, I was born Yeah, kind of turn into one. I don't think it was originally gonna be a great place has some people over and then all of a sudden But there's a lot of people over younger than you same age a little young age is 28. Yeah, that's my ex-wife's sisters people That's okay. Yeah, we need to unpack that for a second because that's back.

That's a little fucked. That's cool We hang out with your ex-wife's sister here is a strange the right word or maybe I just think it's the right word because your ex-wife is strange I don't know, but you don't talk to her right. No, I don't talk to her at all. I talk to her family I mean if you don't want to hear out like person shit on the air, that's fine I mean, I just thought it was weird that you like hang out with your ex's family I talk to her family and I mean we go on boat trips and stuff like like we're good with their family because you know My daughter and it's a weird it's like a like a new generation.

No, yeah, nuclear family What do they call it? Nuclear family is is kind of the old idea. Yeah, I guess what we call it today You take the family modern family. Yeah, but your life is a TV show.

That's true It is actually like it shows on a bench. It's not it's just I think it was on too long better than Big Bang Theory I mean, I don't want to get off on a tangent, but I mean I used to like that show. Did you feel a little bit trained by that show? Yeah, or maybe just pigeonholed like people I like I felt like they were like trying to understand their culture before their culture took off Yeah, and I'm like yeah, you're kind of getting it, but you're kind of not you're being very nerdy Jason right now Nerdy Jason.

Yeah, I feel like let's go to the comic book store. Let's go do math like come on Yeah, I feel like my parents trying to relate to me In like high school. Yeah, like freshman high school like trying to bring up like hey Here's some nerdy stuff you like nerdy stuff, right? And then they'd sprinkle in like no mom I don't like DC fuck you They'd sprinkle in like something small like only nerd people would get yeah like bring up Schrodinger's cat Yeah, and then oh the smart people laugh.

I did yeah I do enjoy that they were trying to give some credit towards you know intelligent people and that they're not Almost dumb down to almost exactly dumb down to people. Yeah, I found it a little offensive not gonna See you're saying you're an intelligent person. No, that's what you said. No Not at all.

Oh, man. We're so intelligent today. We're gonna be talking about alien invasion Yeah, it's not been done to death No, so I mean I guess we're kind of I think this is gonna become more of a debate or maybe an attacking person By the way the attack of Los Angeles the battle of Los Angeles the battle of Los Angeles which Dan claims is an alien invasion I Never claim that Let's go over this first though. Has there been any like so-called air quotes alien invasion that's been covered up like a battle for Los Angeles Or is it really just that cuz I couldn't find anything else.

I'm gonna pretend that you just don't know about Roswell I thought that was a crash not an attack. We should cover up. No, I said Cover up no or anytime. We've shot at aliens I think every time they they being you know the government or whoever whatever media source you want to leave your government Yeah, all that shit Supposedly every time the air force is fired upon or military is fired upon on a gun by flying object They haven't been able to bring down but I would imagine those would be just the ones that they're willing to talk about and not like Are the ones that play me accidentally shot down?

Yeah, right? Yeah I mean if they I guess we'll get to this a little bit But like if they did shoot down like say a Nazi plane over America, right? They're not gonna be like yeah, the Nazis were flying over here, right because yeah, they're gonna keep it hush hush I know there's something there cats and dogs living together Stereo oh man, but so anyway if you don't know and that's part of the reason I wanted to do an episode on this is I Know I've heard and read about it. I had not heard of it exactly you mentioned it I mean you're not like I really neither of us are because we don't have the time to be like super crazy like making yarn charts on our wall Like crazy, but if you donate to our patreon today, we don't have a patreon We probably should not do the cost anything but I'm saying we're not that insane that we have time to go over fucking conspiracies But fairly well versed about all this shit because we look it up looking for topics and what have you yeah?

And that that was surprising to me when I brought up the battle of Los Angeles and you're like what's that? Well, I will say I had seen the movie before and rewatched it and it has nothing to do with this topic We're talking about today. Yeah, I was gonna bring that up. That doesn't have anything to do with it No, yeah, I watched it and I guess it's more I guess it's more of if it happened a day What would happen every time record?

Yeah, that'd be my name or the lawn mower in background. Anyway, let's just go in our studio Yeah, sweet studio But um, okay, so this happened what I have conflicting dates the February 24th or February 26th 1942. It's actually February 25th Wow, I got the two days on the outside of it. Well, it's pretty close.

Okay, so let's let's do a little timeline here so What we're talking about is in 1942 February 25th over Los Angeles there was an incident where Supposedly There was an identified There was a UFO unidentified flying object with a floating object. Yes And we attacked it. Yes, so just just for some backdrop and this is widely reported. It's in the LA Times There's been investigations.

There's military documents. It's definitely happened. There's video. How yeah, there's video however you want to look at it It definitely exists so that for one makes it one of the most intriguing things about it to me is that there's actually eyewitnesses There's a whole city full of people.

There's documentation. There's video. There's photos So at least you've got something to go on and not just like Yeah, Uncle Albert, you know, he yeah He fell down the well that time, but then we found him in the middle of the field two counties over how that happened Well, maybe maybe he was drunk. I don't want to offer what I don't know how you come up with some of this shit sometimes anyway, so It's worth noting that December 7th 1941 Three months prior we were attacked.

Yes in Pearl Harbor. Yes. It's worth noting absolutely. It's definitely worth noting that so this event happened during World War 2 Correct after we had declared war on the van So jesus is he using a louder lawn mower now, right?

It's like he turned up the volume Are you guys recording? Let me jack this up. Damn it. It's definitely gonna sound fun.

Okay. Well master producer Brinton Smith Okay, so we just mentioned Three weeks or three months prior we got a time. Yeah, yeah. Yeah.

Okay. Also didn't know if you knew uh, February 23rd Japanese submarine. Yes. Hear about that.

Yep, the Japanese And you say mine house is noisy fuck man. Fuck you cat What do you do? He was just jumping on the fucking he's never done that before he's jumping up the the dam What are you calling door frames? Really?

Yeah, he never does that. He's just being an asshole Yeah, we just had to stop the freaking recording because it's like everything's going wrong Uh realized that my dumbass cat has taken a bite into one of the microphone cords Because we don't need those plus we have a lot more going plus your cats sign have a little freak out. Yeah, he's having a fucking meltdown Damn it. Okay power through We can edit all the sound post so like yeah three days prior or something like that There was a Japanese submarine found off the coast.

Yes of sand Fran. I believe it was or salmon. Yeah, okay, salmon That's right. That's right.

They've never found that sub no they did find it. They did find it. I thought they showed the fuck out of it But I thought they never found it after they showed it really that's horrible. I didn't hear that part.

I could be wrong too Now there's a jet going by Best studio ever jeez. Oh well Anyway, I would just need that train to hit yeah And trains maybe maybe a car crash or cops ambulance lease. Yeah, maybe less So I'm totally I've totally lost focus at this point. So anyway, so yes, they did attack a submarine Yes, three days prior off the coast of where this other event happened.

Okay. Yes So obviously tensions were high. Mm-hmm. We had been attacked at Pearl Harbor Now we're seeing enemy vessels off the coast of america people a little freaked out.

Yep a little on edge February 24th the navy warns the west coast of an imminent attack For the next 10 hours Raises at that time the thread alert to yellow whatever that means It means three hours later reduce it again to white meaning no nothing. Yep. So one What were they talking about? I wasn't able to find the information like what's probably some Retelligence.

Yeah, some sort of intelligence like well, we could pick up was it said Santa Monica And that's all we know right and they could have just been yeah, just cautious cautious. Yeah, I get you Okay, so One interesting thing was Okay, I can't remember which was which so there was a blackout as well. Yes that happened during the attack during the attack See I was told or I heard it really before on a video or read somewhere that on account of the the yellow alert Several cities had blacked out because they were afraid of the imminent attack. Yes.

That's what I heard too. Basically They black out because this is in 1942 Okay, well now they're if there's a plane or something they can't see the ground It doesn't know where anything is it's not just gonna randomly drop bomb I mean it might instead of being able to target. Oh, there's lights that must be someone there right so they begin Keep clearing my throat too. I know this is a perfect storm of awesome audio.

They begin searching sky for Yeah, they had like 30 something searchlights searchlights lighting up the whole sky searchlights are pretty powerful Is it weird today like I still find it odd today when I see a search light like you know like you know my cardialliships used to do that Yes, they don't really do it anymore. I guess probably because we'll listen airport. They're like hey dicks stop shining light in the sky I'm gonna be a hundred percent honest here even though it doesn't help my case When I was in high school there was a new movie theater that opened maybe 25 miles from my hometown Oh, yeah, and you could see the searchlights dude my whole family was outside on the deck facing the lake next to my house Looking at three orbs in the sky that would quickly move from one side to the other spin around move from one side to the other My dad has a VHS recorder out. It's tripping out.

It's like calling my grandparents. They're like oh, we see him too like We're substantially creeped out for a minute and then somebody was like hey, didn't they open a new movie theater? Grandin we're like wait a minute. That can't be yeah, it can be searchlights and we're like holy crap.

That's what those are and if you like Then look at them again for a second. You're like wait a sec. Yeah, that's weird. Like once I'm pointing something like that out.

It's like oh, no That's definitely what that is. Yeah, like that's big foot. No, that's just some dude in a suit. Oh, wait, that is that dude?

That's that's CG. Yeah, and then you're like oh, I see it now. Yeah, but does that work both ways Here's the thing and that kind of what misinformation does it's kind of like misinformation does Oh, I see the UFO now. No, I understand mass hysteria and I understand seeing things that aren't there So I've got two complaints with the seeing things one no light pollution.

So there's a blackout. Yeah, I mean Really difficult to see something that wasn't there when there isn't enough light. How much light was there really in 1942? Who knows but I mean judging by the photos the searchlights were at least powerful enough to pinpoint something in the sky.

Yes So They could see something I know that if you look at several of the photos, there's searchlights going everywhere. Yeah But there's also the one photo that ended up in the LA time two of them across where you're depending on something. Yeah, several of them like converged so at 1 44 a.m. on February 25th a three radar stations pinged something moving toward The west coast of the United States.

It eventually became to What's five kilometers? 5000 VHS meters? I hate I don't know that is miles five kilometers off side of Los Angeles not far not far. Okay, so at this point the alarm is raised.

Oh, I think that's what it is I think that's when the blackout occurred. Yeah, because once the alarm is raised they blacked out So right they're like oh shit something's here kill the lights that way they can't bomb or whatever So this is one of the weirdest parts to me. So they've got this radar equipment it sees something they black out Get this It disappears from radar never to reappear. Okay, so Around this time they've got searchlights going and this is where we're starting to get uh, eyewitness counts.

There's police officers. There's Journalists people from the military are all seeing a lot of different things. There's reports of balloon looking things There's a reports of you know flying saucers if you want calling that there's people to say there was nothing There's people to say they saw airplanes One of the reports said that there were 200 high flying bombers in formation So I'm not gonna discount the fact that people are idiots and hysteria makes people say and think crazy things Absolutely. I mean I saw a bunch of aliens In high school with a bunch of other educated intelligent people They turned out to be searchlights.

So I'm not saying that everybody's wrong or everybody's right But there's some weird things about this one by information kind of freak me out. Yeah I mean depending on where these people were how far away they were I mean it's hard to tell I mean if you think of a flying saucer if you look at it from the side, it's pretty much the same shape as a blimp Yeah, true So mea, I mean what do they call that um Perspective Depending on their perspective of viewing it right they could easily think it was one thing or something else right what is it? It's um Like if a plane I think it's toward you. Yeah, if an area plane at night is flying directly toward you You don't see the flashing lights and you're like it looks like it tries floating.

Yeah And it does yeah, you're right. It does look like the triangle that they talked about all the time as like a flying saucer Or flying triangle whenever you want to call it. Um, anyway, so this all this whole incident goes down Uh pretty rapidly it escalates after this so after these sightings There is apparently an object off the coast of los angeles. I think it was tan mottico specifically and The order went down to open fire and they didn't they I mean in the video you can see our tiller shows Boom boom boom all over the place.

Yes, they never managed to hit it though. The object did not go down So I want to talk about for a second What we're shooting here. So I don't know have you ever done any bird hunting? No Uh, I've got a ski shooting.

So yeah, I've been yeah ski shooting it's similar Um, but if you've been ski shooting or if you've hunted birds, you know that Uh what they call sky blasting super ineffective. I mean, yeah, just random shot and the perspective can be Deceptive. I mean I remember hunting with my dad when I was younger and you know, we'd be like hunting geese or whatever And it would totally seem like we could man we could shoot those geese Yeah, like they'd be like floating into a pond or flying over and I'm like, man, why don't we just shoot those? And he's like man, we'll never hit those they don't look that far away.

They look like you could throw a rock at them Yeah, but you gotta remember you're fighting gravity Throwing lid or you know, whatever metal up into this guy. Yeah, gotta be pretty close Same thing. I mean ski shooting. You know the trajectory.

You know, it's gonna be like 50 yards out. That's about what a shotgun can get Yeah, they're very ineffective after certain distance. So let's talk about like a military weapons Machine guns you got a little more range. I mean if you're talking like an m16 Are you talking about like a army like a shooting gun?

Yeah shooting gun. That's what they're for Not like a mounted or you're talking like a mounted like anti aircraft. I'm just saying like an assault rifle. Okay.

I'm graduating up Okay, that's what I was wondering if you'd already skipped up. Okay. So like an assault rifle. Yeah an AR-15 would have you I mean, I just more aerodynamic.

You definitely get more range more accuracy more accuracy um That more or less improves with the size. I mean if you go with you know like a Like machine gun mini gun, you know, 50 cal like rambo style like on a turret. Yeah, you can more power more range more power more weight penetrating Exactly ability these were anti aircraft guns. So according to The records because they have to keep record of where all the shells went Over 1400 shells were expended.

These were anti aircraft guns. What does that mean? That means an artillery. Yes An anti aircraft gun is designed to take down an airplane.

Yeah, what does that mean? So that means that they shot shells that were over 12 pounds an individual shell. There's over 12 pounds Yes, they're designed to not directly hit an airplane You would I mean if you're good, you could directly hit one. It's designed to go into the sky and explode.

It's like a firework I didn't know that boom boom boom the impact also disrupts things. So it's both Yeah, that makes sense if you can hit it directly fucking good on you buddy. You're two feet away still gonna mess it up Yeah, you get a gold star for today still close by you're fucking up. Yeah, good job.

Yeah, it's not Yeah, even if they're flying through the smoke anything's gonna help to slow it down or disrupt it's flight path Absolutely. So we lobbed 1400 of these designed to take down an airplane add a balloon looking thing Yeah, it's a limp looking thing. It's got a blunt bro airplane who knows An object didn't scratch it didn't bring it down this thing continued to travel for 40 kilometers I don't know. I guess all my information was in metric.

Yeah, I guess so well. Here's the thing Here's I definitely think it was just a blimp. Okay. Let me explain why one you're talking about these shooting in it's gonna If these people are used to shooting at planes their aim's gonna be off there thinking it's a plane they're gonna be over shooting Because they're gonna think you think they're gonna be tracking it What do you mean like shooting ahead?

Yeah, I would think so, but if it's a blimp supposedly this thing moved 25 miles in 30 minutes That's fucking slow Yeah, it is slow plane is not gonna fly that slow a blimp would fly that slow That's that's fair Now also the artillery shells and stuff Without direct hits it's not really gonna disrupt it because it's not it doesn't fly like a plane You know, you're not worried about the propeller This is where I'm just agreeing with you It's totally gonna disrupt it Depending on how the blimp was built had a multi-chamber So you're going with blimp. I'm going 100% think it's a blimp. 100% think it's a blimp. That is your explanation for this object.

Yes, okay You sound super disappointed in me a little So the blimp was never recovered. Yeah Our military who's prepped for an attack from Japan super hyped ready to kill shit I mean, that's what I went down with the submarine. Mm-hmm like that lasted 20 minutes No, I didn't go further and find out whether or not they found the craft I thought it was confirmed because it's I mean it's Considered an attack because they like popped up right next to the United States with a Japanese sub and they shot it down Like done You're saying that these guys This military that's this prep didn't scratch a blimp I'm not saying they didn't scratch it. They could have very well shot it down.

Yeah, so why didn't they shoot it down? Maybe they did travel For 30 minutes without getting shot out. Well, I mean, I don't know how blimps are built personally But if I were to lie on my ignorance to win your argument If I were to build a blimp, let's say I would not make the entire floaty part one big container So you're gonna have multiple sections you're immediately discredit because you called it the floaty part But you know if they used like a okay, this is gonna sound silly You ever seen like the videos the guy on the chair with a bunch of balloons I think that's a movie called up. Yeah, so if they blimp was like that, it's gonna take way more Of those balloons popping to actually have it drop.

It's true. That old guy's house floated all the way I've never seen that movie. What? Yeah, it's great.

Never seen it. No, it's hilarious. It's got the talking dog squirrel Yeah, you know that part yeah commercials No, but I just I think it would take a lot more to take down a blimp Then you would think then a plane especially a plane is gonna go down pretty easily Whereas a blimp it just seems to have a lot more Well, you're not a love to it and also The reason you brought up it disappearing off the radar If it dropped below radar It's not gonna come back into right, you know, I don't know how radar works either Just you're basing that on my my top gun where they're like we gotta fly under the radar Yeah, or just that phrase. I think radar would just work.

I don't think it does a certain distance height You don't think so? I mean Why would it only work after a thousand feet or something? You know, whatever. So why why is radar picking up a blimp anyway?

Why wouldn't we're a balloon? Well, I mean blimp's big enough for it to pick up on radar. I thought it was radar was for metal Oh, does it is an only metal? I don't know.

You know a lot of uh, I told you I know nothing about radiating You know a lot of magnetic rubber. You ever seen that magnetic rubber. No I don't know what's a blimp made of maybe we should pause and look what a blimp's made of I mean, I'm pretty sure I'm pretty sure it's made of light material the depton plant, huh? Isn't that you made teflon dept?

You part? Yeah, I think so. Yeah, sounds right. Did we ever talk about that?

I mean, it's a really short thing to talk about but that was really made to make cookware not stick and then it's like oh, yeah, also Bulletproof, right? Also, it might kill you if you ingest it. So don't scrape your pans. That's the weird part to me like don't scratch this you might die Like maybe don't make cookware out of it then.

Oh, also hey if you put this on the stove and leave it on with nothing in it It's gonna create these fumes. You can't breathe either. Oh, right? Yeah, because I don't like solidifying your pores Yeah, super super weird that we use something so common dangerous.

No, I was talking about the thing at the 3m plant in South Carolina We brought that up. No, we didn't bring that up. That was um, I don't know if it's a whole episode So do you want to talk about it for real quick since we brought it up? Let's say for them.

Let's finish this up. Okay, all right If we can't finish this. I mean we definitely just did is totally so you're not alone man. Uh, there was an investigation Interestingly to me Like if this was nothing why would there be one?

No, it's not against everything 1945 There was a military investigation and there was a gentleman. Uh, it was colonel. I believe it the time William goss Was given all access to all information that the military had on the situation Uh, you know, obviously could talk to several eyewitness reports Journalists what have you? Um, his consensus as well as a dude named colonel watson Were exactly what you thought two two balloons and they thought they were weather balloons.

Uh supposedly there were two weather balloons released on that day they some people think like during the attack like What a dick move like oh you guys are shooting they want it. Uh, damn it They blew it up. Well, I got to have this report in by tomorrow So I'm gonna let this second one go like in the middle of this shit going down somebody released another one So a couple of things that freak people out apparently there was a red flare attached to the second one Uh supposedly to keep people from shooting it now personally what I think If they're letting up a weather balloon with a red flare it would be to illuminate the sky to see what else is up there That spotlight's not seen clever. That's just whatever Uh, also I guess the idea behind a weather balloon is that they emit some sort of radio signals so that they can receive that on the ground and find out The weather's doing seems like kind of an ineffective plan to me with the whole weather balloon thing Yeah, I'm just saying meteorologically.

Yeah, I can't but I got that out. We'll just send this up I'll never do it again. Nope. Yeah, let's just send this out there.

See what it tells us. Where's it going? We had no control of that You didn't think to put a radio transmitter in fuck all right. We'll do that next time So In this uh investigation There's a gentleman named Is somebody killing a dog outside?

Nope, those are children Those are children. I thought it was a dog too No noises laughs. I've ever heard Isn't that odd? Yeah, I thought that was a dog.

It's just more noise. It's a really good episode Uh john murphy Mm-hmm from Murphy's law murphy's law if anything can go wrong Uh Fran. I don't know why I have Fran written down Ian Fran apparently oh yeah, it could be Okay, john murphy also involved in the investigation in 1948 said that a controller for anti aircraft from san francisco Actually stated that it was an enemy blimp and to open fire. Okay, sent that transmission to los angeles.

Okay Nice easily one explanation. Where did he how could he tell us a blimp if the guys underneath it couldn't? Uh, they're saying that they witnessed This blimp moving along the coast. Okay, and to open fire So I kind of understand where a lot of these investigations are coming from like the massive stereo idea of war jitters Like everybody's pretty on edge and anything in the sky is gonna be hey get that the hell out sky Well, I mean you remember, you know Days, weeks, even months after 9-11 everybody was pretty freaked out.

Yeah, I mean I knew people that were so hooked on the news They didn't leave their house like I knew a couple people in school that uh really fucked other grades Or like lost their part-time jobs because they couldn't get away from watching the news. They're just like so hooked on it like well It's gonna happen. I'm like, uh, probably the world's gonna keep going. Yeah, so you should probably go to back to work and back school But uh, you know, I mean it's just jitters man people are freaked out when everything goes crazy Uh, I'm sure especially after Pearl Harbor because I mean that was the first attack on the United States ever Yeah, and since no, I had 9-11.

I was just talking about it. But those only yeah, there's only two they've never known ever right And considering how people receive their information at the time what radio television newspaper there was no internets So I mean you're better or worse the world was less connected. So it was all hearsay. It was all Everybody talking to each other phone calls Talking shit people didn't know what they were talking about and stories get created.

I mean that's yeah Things get miss told people miss here and the next thing you know, it's oh no the 400 Japanese jumped out of a UFO Into the ocean and it came out in robots suits farmer. Yes, exactly so Another big thing that I don't think it's mentioned a lot is um Smoke I mean much much in the way that uh, my family and I were fooled by searchlights Uh, the smoke from those shells mixed with the lights from the search lights definitely Yeah, if you've ever been to like a big fireworks display and the the smoke trails left after that look crazy. Yeah, looks like, you know An alien invasion for sure Uh, I might not mention what if people if people are shooting artillery shells above your head Like you're at home looking out the window and you see these blasts boom boom boom boom boom You know, you're gonna think what something big is going on not everyone's overreacting to a single vessel in the sky so Another interesting thing um the the famous uh, telecommunication guy Robert Watson watt From the uk did an investigation on uh, the u.s. Notaries radar equipment and deemed the west coast as horribly inadequate as how he put it and untrained into personnel So the radar information a little bit sketchy.

Yeah, so my biggest problems with this situation are the big Differences in in information. I think that can be probably attributed just just no real official Statement on anything and the case of you know, you get more people involved the more fucked up. It's gonna be Yeah, you know, I'm saying to me cooks in the kitchen. Yeah, exactly how many jobs you've been on with like 10 coworkers And you're like we're not getting anything.

Yeah, I'm just gonna stand over here because I'm more in the way than helping Well, and there's usually like four different people trying to give two or three people doing something and everybody else just like Scoring around like cats like not really doing anything because everybody's like I think I'm in charge Yeah, I can't imagine that with an entire city full of people all saying like I know what I saw Yeah, and all having their own opinion It wasn't pointed out in anything that I looked at but interestingly there was a police officer interviewed by the le times and this was just kind of glossed over That he thought when the shelling started He thought he saw two planes go down And see there's another thing with the military very well could have happened. Oh sure, but see what I'm thinking is Saw two planes go down the military has said that they didn't have any planes in the air because they had like 15 different small groups of planes spread out so that ready to go But they didn't have any confirmation so they weren't gonna waste the gas they weren't gonna put people in the air And waste the gas so it in theory it could have been you know, some unlicensed plant pilots like flying around Uh, Japan as much as we want to believe them. We're like, yeah, we didn't even have any planes over there You have to remember at this time There were no long-distance fighters. No, I mean, that's why we have aircraft carriers Yeah, so today because at the time you had to get close and then fly and then fly it and then fly it You had to there wasn't any other way to do it unless you create a vessel that doesn't take a lot of gas to power That's fair.

I mean that could have been the first like mate first transatlantic blimp Or not Atlantic trans specific. Yeah, it could have been My big problems are Several investigations, I don't know if you're my jokers now, but what did you say? Don't crack your look right here. Nice.

I had to say it again Pretty proud of that one. I was did you write it at home and then ran it? Oh, I just I'm amazing. It was me Anyway, but yeah, I agree with you.

I agree with a lot of these reports. Yeah, a lot of speculation for sure. My problem is They had searchlights lots of them on something. Okay, and they launched a shitload of anti-aircraft Artillery at these motherfuckers or motherfucker whatever it is one thing several things.

I don't care and nothing went down Yes, it continued to travel, but then it disappeared and was never seen again, right because it got shot down Right, but not for 30 minutes Yeah, maybe I don't know I really don't know I do you think that like how hard it would take like 10 shots On a balloon where they're like I got it was blue And they're like oh fuck it was blue in my bag. Yeah, see and that's the one thing if it was a blimp It's moving so slow that they would definitely be able to hit it. It's large enough Yeah blimps are huge huge like they would have definitely been able to hit it. Yeah And if it's anything like the Hindenburg it's going down, right the The only thing that I could think that if it was a balloon and didn't get shot down is The possibility that it continued to go up and so like you were saying their telemetry was totally wrong because they're used to things flying Yes horizontally and not vertically or maybe the object was way smaller than they thought so they thought it was further away or way bigger So it was further away and they're just totally not even in the right area right You know they could just totally been all missing it if it's you I think back then if it's an object or a craft that they've never seen For they don't know the size of it the searchlights though Yeah, but you're pointing at it with giant lights.

Yeah, and then you're aiming your fucking gun right at those At that spot that's true and you didn't hit shit or maybe they did hit something and it was a balloon And it just went down without any fanfare because it didn't explode. Yeah. Yeah, maybe they yeah, that's what maybe it We lost it. Oh because it went down but you couldn't see it because it wasn't exploding Or maybe it was a fucking UFO and our bullets did nothing to it, right?

I mean that is not I mean it is that's almost just a bible That's what you're saying about it, man. We know nothing about this object. Yeah, that's why we're still talking about it 75 years later And if you look at the video weird video and pictures I guess photography was so crappy back then that everything is whiteed out from the bright-ass searchlights and you can't see the object True and supposedly it's been retouched and what have you I saw some of the original pictures All they really brightened up were the searchlights. Yeah, that's the only thing.

Yeah, it's like brighten up whatever they were pointed at yeah So they were pointed at something obviously it looks like oh they definitely pinpoint something because they're crossing the whole time while shells are exploding all around it But that's another thing all around it. Some of those bullets were way off. Oh sure like and if they're that far off Why are they shooting that far off? That's fair or the bullets hitting it bouncing off.

Oh, and then exploding for steel Maybe for steel like the de pon plant M3 3 and the same thing. Yes, it's owned by divine. Yeah, so those who don't know this but okay So are we are we gonna just do what everybody else did and stick it stick pin in uh Battle of los angeles or we're gonna say one way or the other. I'm gonna say I mean, I'm like 99% sure it was of this earth vessel That's what I'm going with it was something it was someone trying to attack us.

We're at war. It's world war two I think what happened was that we fucked up And we didn't really have a good explanation You think everyone overreacted over nothing basically and shots were going off there's something in the sky, but it's got to be one of two It's either massive one of the giant like the most incredible attempts and successes at covering something up ever or Which by the way, you could probably call the first Uh such event and quote unquote cover up. I don't think anything had happened before that Like any you know, so-called government involvement in aliens or any conspiracy sort of thing So I mean it was kind of the kickoff of that So it's either the greatest cover up of all time because nobody really ever found out And it's always been speculation or it was exactly how it sounds and that is nerves There was a blackout they needed some sort of explanation to give the people for why they kept shutting the fucking power off to the entire west coast Yeah, and then fuck so we freaked everybody out over a balloon. Yeah, how the fuck are we gonna tell people that exactly so Either way You can't get a straight answer out anybody because one they're not gonna tell you there was an alien Especially right after the beginning of world war two.

They're not gonna admit their tailings They're not gonna admit that a foreign no a foreign country has invaded america They're not gonna admit they shot it something that was civilian. I mean all these things they're not gonna miss any of it No matter what it is. Yeah, it's it's gonna be like what we don't have to tell you shit Always been one of those ones that fucked with me though. Yeah, it's the fact that nothing went down and they kept pointing at stuff They could have been pointing at smoke.

There's a lot of explanations. It goes around and around it really messes with me So another thing so I hate to say but yeah, I can't go one way or the other on this one I don't blame you. It's there's real. No proof either way.

No, it's all hearsay Yeah, apparently there was another investigation as recent as 2011 and exact same conclusion like well now there's less eyewitnesses There's less information More things have been declassified from world war two But apparently all the information about this event is already out there and they're just like yeah, we don't know yeah, we're not sure I have that there's I mean technically you know when you originally said battle for lesson I assumed there was an alien invasion the aliens were firing on us or there was some sort of attack on LA But there wasn't really it was more of a defensive attack right? That's that's maybe Think and try to look up to see if there was any Possible air quote government coverups of alien attacks like has there ever been an attack where it's been like they've you know It was an alien and they're saying oh no that was that was Germany Germany attack is there when really oh right? Yeah, I didn't know if there was anything like I couldn't find anything well What was it like six years before that? Uh, all the major governments of the world were taken over by aliens what in the world?

Oh, yeah Yeah, we definitely gotta do enough of that as well was it or some else right? Yeah, it's pretty impressive Same guy, right the actor. Yeah big back. Yeah Um and also that made me look at alien sightings in other countries.

Okay. Why is america like the number one spot for aliens to check out? Oh, they're all over the place though. Yeah, but like a lot of activity in the Philippines.

Really? Yeah, okay Maybe I didn't do enough reason I didn't dig I realized I was getting off track and kind of went back to uh I mean, I'm just glad you've expanded from your previously mentioned uh two notes Do you do half a page to five maybe six notes? Yeah, good job. Mm-hmm.

Yeah when we were gonna record this before I just uh, yeah, I've already got two Even the wicked wicked wicked is like three paragraphs and that's it. Yeah, they're like Nothing to see here. There's not the blimps you're looking for Yeah, just it just seems weird, but it does scream of Like conspiracy conspiracy, but it also screams of we fucked up and we're trying not to talk about it Yeah, it does because we totally screwed this thing up. Anyway, uh apparently there was a Recorded force field here in South Carolina.

Yeah, so someone accidentally created a force field at a 3m plant Which if you don't know 3m, they make stuff like electric tape vinyl right plastics plastics So apparently because we're South Carolina and we're super humid. I think this happened actually on a dry day though, wouldn't it? Yeah, because it was dry and it's weird there was like these giant rolls of plastic So they do is they roll them from one roll to a new roll. Yeah So basically it's unraveling a bunch of plastic putting on a new plastic No, fin shoots of now if you know if you've ever tried to use plastic wrap to cover up a salad bowl or something Shit as soon as you pull it off all that stack electricity wants it to crunch back up.

Yes So basically we're doing that on a massive scale is what they were doing. Yeah, like rollers like the size of a warehouse. Yes, so Apparently while doing this they created so much static electricity that People became stuck in the building and people were unable to enter the building They were hitting like an invisible wall that they cannot get passed so The employees said that they were experiencing like some sort of odd effect When they were doing this real thing with the plastic and said they informed one of their supervisors about it And I forget the guy's name. You can google it pretty easily and he said he came in with With a meter and apparently the discharge of static coming off of this thing could be red and mega volts.

Yeah That's a shitload of volts. Yes, but there's no amperage. So it's not dangerous and at one point They they tested it. It was just in this like one area.

Mm-hmm one specific part of the plant like just around these two rollers And I thought it was one of the quotes from the maintenance people were like we didn't know whether or not to fix the problem or sell tickets Like like apparently it was like super crazy the when they did it for the the inspector slash manager guy He noted that his meter immediately went to the maximum Nothing even more to read. Uh, he was like stuck in place. He couldn't move forward any further He also noted that a fly Was stuck in the mid flight like bzzt Just like stuck in it. Um, nothing could move through it.

The only way he could get away from the situation was to back out of it And I think it just dissipated on its own, right? Yeah, I think I think it just it was a weird combination of the static lectures from the rollers Right the amount of humidity in the air the baromac pressure I mean like all these things line up perfectly to let this happen, right? Especially they dismantled the the rollers Yes, and like reconfigured them and they've never been able to recreate it, but anybody who worked there at the time I've met a few electricians on different sites. They were like, oh, yeah, I used to work at 3am.

Really like yeah There's I've talked to people that claimed to have been there when it happened really and that the ship was real I mean that's it was just like so short lived and everybody's like oh, this is fucking crazy And then nobody really talked about it because they repaired it and I guess it'd be too expensive for like a scientist or recreate Is that what it is? I mean what they said it's never been recreated again, but I mean who yeah Who is anybody tried? Well, and the thing is I see it being possible because they can do stuff like levitate frogs using sure A electromagnetic energy, but there's no reason to say statically. I mean it all is energy is energy That's what it's doing everything.

Well, that's what that's what Tesla was playing around with with these giant coins Of course the static electricity. Yeah, all those uh photographs of him like sitting close to the Tesla coil and it looks like lightning shooting around him Yeah, it's super high voltage very low-emperage Not dangerous same thing same thing. So I just thought I was gonna I always want to make a testicle I was one of the force field. Yeah, I think everyone's that I mean imagine what we could do now with Tesla's technology There's no one like take his technology like now.

Let's do that on like cuz I'm sure like our components are so much smaller That we'd be able to recreate what he did but in a smaller object with a bigger effect Oh sure well, I mean a lot of the stuff I mean we talked about this in the Tesla episode a lot of the stuff wasn't credit to him or There's several reasons his lab in New York was burned down. So he lost a lot of things Which was really important because That's what really when he started writing things down. So a lot of the stuff from when he was younger He had he all did it's fucking crazy. He did all from memory.

Yeah, cool Yeah, so he had very few plans like he would go to like giant jobs like the the transformers and Niagara Falls He didn't have any plans like he would have to tell people what to do to build them because he didn't draw anything out I'm sure they made drawings after the fact that he's just like yeah, do this and that and this and that and they're like uh fucking what? Um for the worlds Depart what else was I gonna read? Oh, I know what else did you do this week? I'll get a cat Marvel.

It is a cat Marvel. Nice. I mean let me tell you about the end my favorite part is the end Yeah, let's see it though. I thought it was weird that they changed uh, Chiwi's name to goose What we can't what about his name's Chiwi when in the comics.

Oh, really? Yeah, I didn't know that yeah Which I assume they changed because you know top gun goose Well, I thought they changed it because uh, you know, Lucas arts Like I think it was like Chiwi show for Chewbacca. Maybe it was both but they own Star Wars. Yeah, so it does seem weird, right?

Yeah, maybe they just didn't want to combine the two and then I heard the name was goose I'm like so are they implying that they're gonna kill the cat? I want to know who died in the Star Wars universe. We'll ever snap Uh, what about the month it's bro. Oh, yeah, right?

Dr. Teeth Conson. I'm not feeling good current the electric man I'm not feeling so well Uh one second thing oh, yeah, James gun James gun back on back in cool that people are slowly stopped getting persecuted for things They did when they were years ago. Yeah.

Yeah, I'm trying to make a joke. Obviously trying to make a joke poor taste and joke sure Oh, yeah, they're pretty poor days if you read them. Yeah, but at the same time like Dude if I got judged on everything I did like back before the internet was around. Yeah.

Yeah, I've said some horrible things Everyone has sure well, and let's not forget currently Speaking is not illegal. No I mean it sounded you could get fired but you can't get fired. Yes, you sure can I want one of the first comments I read after seeing that looking that up on Twitter was uh, so I guess you can't on fire again Nice. I was like, I got one dude.

Good one Uh, I guess got some new internets this week. He did. I just that why they were here. It was a new company or you know the same company Would you upgrade your seeds upgraded to what they claim is gigabit internet?

Oh, I didn't know you were gigabit. Oh, yeah, that's the best part really is just the Just the pissed off face. He just made. Mm-hmm.

I passed. I passed to be them again. Fastest was a 50. Holy shit.

Yeah See here's the thing and uh, what about what about up? See up is the fastest. I've been able to get his like 45 That's still pretty fucking fast for up. That's very fast.

They do have a tier called pro Which would require fiber, which is two down and one up one gig up. Wow two gig down. Yeah But you can you get fiber here? No, okay.

I mean, I would have to run it myself. Yeah, like from where? Uh, probably all the way out to foster grief. Yeah, exactly.

So you're definitely not which I would totally do if you had the money No, I would I would run it myself if they would like me. Oh if they would like right now there's a new line from the road You may have noticed lane in the yard next to the house Um I offered a barrier. I'm like, I mean, I'll just go and bury that and he was like, no, don't do that like why he's like Well, if they get here to bury it and you've already buried it They're gonna notate that on your account and if anything goes wrong between the street and your house and really anything on your side Pass the street. They're gonna blame it on you.

Yeah, like dude And that totally makes sense because I said something to patnT about the same thing with the fiber. I'm like yo I know what's going down the street out here. I'll trench it myself. I'll get permission from each one of my neighbors And I'll just trench it.

Mm-hmm. I don't care. I've got free time and they're like, no, you know, it sucks about cable companies No, so I've had to have my outside line replaced. My neighbors just got new neighbors.

They moved in they got a new line So it's they run it and they leave it there and then they hire People to come and bury it correct and they bury it a whole like six inches in the ground barely at all. Yes Hate that. Yeah, I do too. Like I totally see why you would want to do it yourself.

Yeah, because it belongs in conduit. Absolutely I don't mind doing it. I don't either. I mean what is that from the road?

Maybe 30 feet? Yeah, maybe three sticks Yeah, I'll see exactly I mean it I could do that in an afternoon myself no big deal But uh, I do want to mention though for anybody that is thinking about it or interested. It is great. Don't get me wrong Here's the thing It's essentially I'm essentially on a QOS if you know what that is on a giant land with my neighborhood Yes, so what that means is if I'm on a local area network with my neighbors So I have noticed at peak times it will slow down to about 200 which is still pretty darn fast.

Yeah, so basically they're giving me the fastest speed they can give me Yes, which honestly didn't cost that much more guys is in your area. Go ahead and look it up. I just hear it so much It's like 125 130 really yeah, I'm paying like nine now. I guess I'm paying 70 For 200 200 down.

See I was already paying 135 though. Oh, where yeah, yeah, and I noticed that it went down recently And I called them up and I'm like hey Went down. They're like yeah our plans changed. I'm like, oh, why well do tell now tell me if I give you 130 a month What can you get me?

Yeah, like is there a tier higher than what I have because that's my question every time. Yes And they're like oh sure. Yeah, we can give you a bit down. I'm like, yeah, please.

Yes. Let's do that Yeah, I've I for the longest time once time when I got bought out by spectrum Yep I was still paying time Warner and I was paying like 120 for like a hundred down. Yeah, and um, I'm sure Longest number of people are everything. The reason I brought it up is one.

It's awesome And two I wanted to give people an expectation if they were thinking about it that unless you're running fiber to your house It's impossible to get crazy speed because fiber is point to point copper. You're sharing that network. Yes, no matter what Yeah, I mean unless you're in the middle of nowhere and you're the only one that has it But then the only reason about that is because call and talk to your internet provider Talking to them and I was like, hey, I want to get a little faster than they're like, oh, what are you paying? Oh, wow.

Yeah, no, you could pay like way less and get double speed and I was like really like yeah You're still with this old company that long technically no longer exists Oh, so you were still on a time Warner plan. Yeah, dude. So I was able to switch over spectrum. Yeah, they don't even exist anymore Even though technically I was trying those things.

Yeah, it was weird. So but yeah, I know just call check everyone speaking of gcom We can obviously change our minds like we usually do. Yeah Yeah, what time she went to bring up that we're never gonna talk about tonight 5g Yes, you know what we definitely talk about 5g 5g. I know I've heard of her tummings and rumors dude I've been I've been looking into it.

There's some legit concerns and like I was telling Terry about it. And of course like the biggest skeptic. I know is my wife She's like so where are you seeing this stuff? I'm like, oh, you know, like CBS news for you know reputable news sources And she's like fake news sources.

Whatever. Oh scrap. I'm like, yeah. Yeah.

Yeah, why am I in control? So we can definitely look into that this little Just a little I would definitely like do one next week on 5g. You want to do one 5g? Yeah, let's do it.

Okay Well, hey, thanks for listening. Yeah, thanks. It's up on uh, we have Facebook Twitter all that stuff What's the Gmail live forever pot at gmail.com if you want to write in If you have any questions, how many things you want to hear particular you want to say thanks? Or just tell us what a shitty job we're doing.

Hey, you guys sound like shit. I hate you. Hey, thanks. Like guys.

I'm Brett I'm Dan. We're out I'm going to do action against unidentified aircraft in the Los Angeles area shortly after 3am Pacific wartime this morning Yeah, he had the aircraft guns began barking during a blackout or everybody caught in a toxic command at 2 25am The identified object which some sources thought might be a flimp moved slowly down to the Pacific Coast from Santa Monica And disappeared south of Long Beach Army officials declined to comment on the possibility that the object might have been a blimp However, it requires nearly 30 minutes to travel some 25 miles far slower than an airplane Watchers on the rooftop of the Columbia broadcasting building in the heart of Hollywood To plainly see the flashes of guns and searchlights treating the skies in a white art along the coastal area Concussion of the shells could be found in downtown Los Angeles 15 miles away US Army planes quickly took to the dark skies But whether they contacted the object has not been enough Army officials say they will not comment until they receive a full report of the action Although so much as they saw airplanes in the air, tell me official sources say they probably were the US Army's pursuit Several observers say they saw one or more planes botlighted by 20 or 30 searchlights The object moved southwards presumably over Huntington Park at the western edge of Los Angeles and on southwards to about Long Beach on the coast By 3 30am of service that the object appeared to be over the south of Long Beach Searchlights closely followed the object down the coast and kept it centered in their glare Cale frequently could be seen bursting in the object but now appear to hit The shooting stopped about 3 30am The shooting bought warfare to the front door of this city of a million and a quarter population for the first time since December 7 Already it was alert to the persons off the southern California coast of a Japanese submarine Which had stopped 25 shells in Bonoyo Field north of Santa Barbara Monday evening Because of the presence of the submarine a three-hour alert was ordered at dust last night and civilian authorities searched their posts while the army and navy continued their search for the sub-otables The evening alert ended at 10 23pm But another was founded at 2 22am and the blackout followed within three minutes It covered Los Angeles County from Santa Monica to Pomona At 2 27 or 7 California regulations were ordered off the air except those in San Diego Approximately 20 minutes after the firing died down the ship returned and headed westward from Long Beach towards Santa Monica The guns wanted to action again throwing round after round the shells at the object The second barrage appeared to be closer to downtown Los Angeles than twice as could hear the concussion of the guns more clearly and the flash of bursting shells was brighter Then the ship disappeared for the second time over the ocean We return you now to CVS in New York
