Battle of Newtown anniversary

On August 29, 1779, 4,000 Continental Army troops led by Major General John Sullivan engaged a combined force of 250 Loyalist rangers (Butler's Rangers) and 350 Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) and Lenape warriors.
