In our series Battle Ready, we've talked about each part of the armor of God. We learned we have to put on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes — we must put on peace, which comes from the Good News. We take up the shield of faith by which we quench the fiery arrows of the enemy. Lastly, we put on salvation as a helmet. When we are fully dressed in our defensive armor we take up the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. But is it the last piece we need for battle?
