BATTLEGROUND: Orlando Magic's training camp POSITION BATTLES already in focus

The Orlando Magic's offseason was based on the assumption they had a strong starting lineup. Nobody should expect much shifting there. But as the team looks ahead to training camp, there are several options off the bench that could help the team and several rotation battles to watch. The biggest will come with who the Magic decide to turn to at the backup center with Nikola Vucevic entering the fold as a stronger offensive option at center battling with the defensive-minded Goga Bitadze. Jase Richardson and Noah Penda will also push for more playing time after their strong Summer League runs. But the Magic are likely to stick with more veteran options in Jevon Carter and Jonathan Isaac. Orlando has more depth and more options if the team can stay healthy.
