Bava Kama 13 – Exercising Morality

Today’s Talmud page, Bava Kama 13, includes the very complicated line that “one is liable only for damage caused to property that belongs to members of the covenant.” This is followed by a long conversation about how to parse that statement, but it brings up the question of whether we should have a greater allegiance to our own tribe.
