Baylor Bears Stack Frontcourt with 2026 Big Man

Baylor Bears coach Scott Drew bolsters his roster for next season, landing six-foot-nine big man Tegra Makabu from the class of 2026. Makabu, a project player from Florida with Congolese roots, averages 6.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. The Bears return seven players, including three bigs, and add three more to their 2026 class: five-star combo guard Dylan Mingo and top-fifty wing Elijah Williams. Baylor aims to develop Makabu slowly, setting up Drew for another successful season without rushing players into significant minutes.
