Baylor Lands Top Point Guard Dylan Mingo

Baylor Mens Basketball Lands Top Point Guard Dylan Mingo: Strengthening the 2026 Class Baylor mens basketball secures a major victory with the signing of five-star point guard Dylan Mingo, ranked second overall by Rivals and the top point guard in the nation. This marks head coach Scott Drews sixth consecutive five-star recruit. Mingo, hailing from Long Island Lutheran High School, showcased his skills on the summer circuit, averaging 19.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 2.3 steals per game. Despite offers from North Carolina, Penn State, and Washington, Mingo chose Baylor, joining his older brother Kayden, who recently transferred from Penn State. The brothers share a high school connection with former Baylor star VJ Edgecombe, now a rookie on the Philadelphia 76ers. Mingos addition bolsters Baylors 2026 class alongside four-star wing Elijah Williams, and strengthens the teams future backcourt.
