Baylor’s New Center Adds Depth and Experience | Big 12 Basketball News

Baylor just got a major boost with the addition of senior center Caden Powell, a veteran who stepped into a starting role last season due to injuries and now brings crucial depth and leadership to a loaded roster. With Powell, Mayo Soyoye, and Juslin Bodo Bodo anchoring the paint, Baylor’s interior is primed for success — mirroring the 2021 championship team’s strength. Though not expected to start, Powell’s defensive prowess and finishing ability off the bench could be game-changing. His Big 12 experience and veteran presence will be vital as Baylor aims to compete all season and make a deep March Madness run.
