Bazzana’s Clutch Plays Seal Guardians Win | Cleveland Guardians News

Guardians stomp the Twins 5-2, thanks to Travis Bazzana’s historic four-for-four on-base streak — including the go-ahead run in the ninth off a wild pitch — sealing their two-game lead over Toronto for the AL Wild Card spot. Bazzana also scored early on a Martínez homer and later walked, advanced to third, and scored again as Brayan Rocchio added two more runs with a double. After struggling to capitalize on early opportunities, the Guardians finally broke through in the seventh and held on for a gritty, pivotal win that keeps their playoff dreams alive.
