A few words about the mix - my first Essential Mix in 2013 which was a live recording from VIVa Warriors in Ibiza, but this is a studio mix, therefore it is not a mix aimed solely at the dance floor but a mix i wanted to have more depth and take the listener on a journey, yet STILL RETAIN my signature Darius Syrossian sound. I have used music i have bought since i started collecting records in 1994 to the present day, i used Vinyl & Digital & it was recorded live in one take. as i said this isn't about present day anthems, but tracks selected to take you on a journey. I am very happy with how it came out and the feedback i have had is amazing. lots amazing tweets & inboxes from people out there which made me smile. thanks to BBC Radio 1 for giving me the opportunity to do my Second Essential Mix, it is a huge honour for me.
