What would my voice what up? 5000 Northside floor. Boy J Joe, drop and get a ticket. Right on.
So, um, good thing y'all is always a how's everybody been what's been going on with everyone over the past week or so anything new anything exciting going on your lives? Uh, what about you man? I've seen a couple posts. It's like you've been a busy little beaver.
Uh, first off, I think you posted that you lost 20, 20 pounds already. I have what you're scary. Um, and we get your more journey. Yeah, sure.
I mean, I think you see what I did. That was good. That was good. Um, as a part of my journey, I've been trying to be very open and transparent about the fact that I'm using drugs to lose weight as opposed to just diet and exercise.
I'm fine with that. Um, I think it's good for people to know how this shit works if they're interested in doing it for themselves. So, um, I started a couple of weeks ago. I started the last time we potted that I was like, I took a shot literally off of a wood device that I should probably take in at night.
And, um, I've been on it for two weeks. It was good advice because that shit, um, did hurt it and it was better to deal with bullshit at night because it immediately knocked me out for one. Like my body went to kind of shock and I passed out and I woke up like an hour later and then went to bed and then went back to sleep or whatever. But next year it was definitely painful and uncomfortable for the first week.
Um, this week hasn't been so bad. This past week hasn't been so bad. I get my next shot tomorrow. It's been cool.
But in general, it was weird because my first took it like I lost seven pounds over about three or four days, which was weird. And then, um, I gained weight again, I gained it back. Like I gained like six of it back. And then while I weighed myself today, it's not that I felt different or weird.
I was like, I haven't weighed myself. I was like 20 pounds lighter. So, from my original weight, um, which is strange. Um, I don't feel no different.
I think my stomach got smaller. Um, but that was the main thing. Um, I don't think people really lose as much weight this quick. Um, I think eating the same stuff.
I don't eat as much. Um, it's not appetite the same. But I still go to the gym as much as I was. So I think maybe that's what it is.
It's like between being in a calorie deficit. And then the working out piece, I think it, I thought I was gonna lose some weight by the nose. I don't lose that much weight. You might have lost a water weight.
That's over too. That's the thing. I drink a lot of water. So, um, and I can't shit.
So I feel like I was like, I'm going back to that. So I feel like I wouldn't have ganked lost that much a week. Take a, um, what's the thing with the pink top? Relax, take a relaxer.
Let me get somebody. I need a little help. I don't have you being constipated. Like, I'm gonna like, cookish.
Wait, wait, wait, wait. You all know, I know I has blended the same question online. He told me to take a fucking soup, uh, dual softener idiot. Yeah.
Yeah. I got the same advice. But merely. I get me.
Yeah. I'm not asking this thing to no more medical questions. I think he got me. No, I'm not.
I might have been at the tail end of the um, constipated questions. He got tired of dropping. Oh, yeah. I give him a minute, too.
Yeah. But I don't want my medical professionals to be tired of me. Well, he wasn't serving in that capacity. And I think he realized, I think it was kind of trying to book really like trying to like, let's talk like, I try to avoid the weapons.
So you start making small types of people. I'm not a shit. You know, we can have like, I was concerned. No, it's not good.
Not shit. The thing is, I'm used to having a good shit like every day, but not to get too personal, but this y'all know, y'all know each other after so many years, but I don't have those no more, which is sad. I mean, I don't know how to make a shit though. I'm not that close to anybody.
I don't think that I know like that shit. Oh, you know, you know, he likes a good shit. He's a good shit. Oh, y'all know that.
I don't think I'm saying. I want to see on a cold day. That's good. Oh, yeah.
I don't get those no more. So I'm gonna see how it goes. The funny thing about it is like, I lost the weight. So I'm like in two thirties, which I thought, you know, oh, I get the two thirties.
That's like a middle linebacker size. I should look great. I don't. So it's like, I feel like I haven't reached that.
You look good brother. You look good. I could see my hey, am I? Anyway, if you turn to a lollipop, you know, we got jokes.
I'm not gonna go pull out the puppy, but I feel like I'm gonna try to see what happened like it to 20s after I think I was gonna take a longer. I think I was not gonna think I was gonna take like a, I think I was gonna take a few months to get to that point. It's not. I don't know.
I really don't know at this point. I'm astonished by how his drug works and scared it because my journal goes up and dosage after like I'm not there's nothing right. Yeah, I'm on the I'm on the it's not going to do this either. So it's all pretty shocking.
So I mean, so we saw you speaking of you slimming down. We saw you in a that she be taking a picture with Dr. Omar. And I was great.
How did that come about? So Dr. Omar came to town. The home girl, she was at her church and she was like hosting the event at her church.
So she told my wife and my wife told me, oh yeah, we gotta go see Dr. Omar or whatever. He was talking about ADHD and how it's a hoax on the community and some shit made up by YD and man. So we had to hear about it.
We got the son of a book. Oh, well, man. That's all though. I am a quarter hotel.
I don't try to go full hotel, but I do have hope to have tendencies. So I was like, man, let's go plug it. We gotta go see Dr. Omar.
So what happened was though, that day she was like, Dr. Omar going to have dinner afterwards. She's like to have dinner with Dr. Omar.
And I was like, absolutely. That's sounds like a dream come true. So I got my bid-shiki on and I want to talk about my bad-shiki for a second. My bad-shiki was made by an African man.
We go to christianmorrow.com. She's an African man from Baltimore and his shit is made in Baltimore. It's not made in China. The hate and ass niggas who said I wasn't Chinese.
She wasn't a chicken. She was a sweet-ass. She was one of her angles. So it looked like Madam and Dr.
YD with Durango's. We weren't out there. But you said it was nasty work. You said Durango's not nasty work.
I mean, if they were Durango's, it would be nasty work. But they didn't have the little Durango's poop on the side. Hey, did you guys have Durango's and they have it, chef? Yeah.
Did the judges make up the way? Or do you still have it? I wasn't wearing them. Okay.
But I guess it's hard to see much like a suit. I have a suit. Where would the dashi get? I think it's either toes out or I guess formal.
I mean, Dr. Omar was wearing a fair max. I thought that was wrong. I probably got to him.
Are you attacking with him? Fair max is with the dashi. But it was cool. The thing is, a pun meeting Dr.
Omar realized I didn't want to have dinner with him because he's a very, very talkative man. And I don't like- No, he's playing the other thing in the background. You better get his leg. Blavi.
No, I don't know. I don't know if the internet- I was like, but he talks a lot. And I was like, man, Dr. Omar talks too much.
He really kick it with him good. And he might be wanting to eat some vegetarian shit as well. So I was like, you know what? Because the thing was the program was supposed to go from 630 to 830.
This nigga talked from 630 to 10. Nah, stop. So I was like, no, Dr. Omar, we can't kick it like that.
What are you talking about? He was talking about Dr. Omar. He's half the shit he says is like, good shit.
Like, okay, that makes sense. I'm learning. But the other half is utter bullshit. So I was like, you have to like take that in.
And the fuck that thing was my daughter was like hanging out every single way. Like, he's like spitting. And I was like, no, he needs to be a good kid. Your daughter was calling him to honorable Dr.
Omar, peace be on him. Exactly. I definitely took my kids. I was stuck to baby was like showing her ass.
So I had to get her out of the room. But I still saw most of it because niggas talked like three hours and I stopped. Three four hours and I stopped. Did you get a masonic?
No, we just took a picture. Maybe did it actually gets a lot like that. I don't like that. So we didn't do that.
But yeah, it was a good experience though. Happy to meet Dr. Do you have a captain? A full captain?
Sure. I don't know what that is. So I probably don't like that. I feel like the average of the full white suit with the captain in the select.
Oh, I had one of those in high school. I used to have one high school. My dad used to work with a Nigerian dude and he gave me one. Is he from Baltimore?
He is from Nigeria by way of Indianapolis. I think my religion's taken at 1.2. Yeah, he gave me one. And I used to do performances in the city playing my saxophone for churches and communities.
I used to wear my full African outfit. So you dressed up in African garb and played the saxophone amongst the board? Yeah, I mean it was a vibe. Yeah.
Street corners? I was playing saxophone. I would play some nagji in my African outfit. Okay, churches.
I played in communities. Like what do you do? Like post up on third and van and just like play or no. I play centers.
I don't play at people weddings. I don't play at people weddings. I don't do that. I go to the hood.
I go to the park and say to have. I play a community. I play a community. You play the paint buckets?
You play. Sometimes it'll be a combo. Chef, Chef combo. I set my buckets up outside the train station.
I mean it'd be cool because it's like it's like a little kid like basically playing a saxophone with African clothes on. I can't really not give you money. So did you have a can? Do you have a can set up or like an open violin?
I thought I was going to ask you why. I thought you're like eight or something. No, definitely one person. I think I was driving himself the gig.
Right. I think I'm trying to play his way through the university. I think I pretend he was blind and shit. I got dark sunglasses up.
You definitely play Indiana School for the Blind. You do that. Hey, where bands be having some shady gigs. Got it.
Indiana School for the Blind was whack because then my fuckers was wrong. Like a blind kid was wrong as well. We played it like a prison or something one time. That was cool.
That was pretty right. Hey man, you're going everywhere from London to everything I would say. That's what happened with me. Anything else happened with Charlie?
Anything else happened with Charlie? No, same old same old. We'll get into the podcast. Oh yeah.
So we go. I mean you got a lot of smoke will be like before the podcast. No, I was just saying like I think I wasn't mad at you. I was mad at you.
I was mad at you talking about my dashing. He wears a lot of dashing keys. Some of his shit ain't authentic. I don't care.
I heard a little bit more coming from here. Because he's like a real home to me. You shouldn't leave people. I didn't cut you man.
I don't think I deserve the brat of that. I'm trying to describe my best advice. Nothing like this. He's like, Oh, he's straight man.
We're cool. Cool. You know, just watch him out. Watch him out.
onderably wicked. The most inauthentic we're cool Super high-pitched voice I saw the homeboy laid out on the floor of crystals around his neck I know J. Joe the crystal guy so I know that was like a you have to get your crystals charged during that Well, yeah, tell us about the voodoo that you witnessed or something. I think it's a good rap y'all I'm a Christian And it was cloudy I got a little darker kind of as if it was about the rain or something I had a glass of the look at the shit, so I was just like I'm fine.
I was wondering all right Let's get into it then speaking of where should that happens rap the rap we've continued so the last time that we talked Talked about that. I'm sweet like that verse from Kendrick. I'm saying it's sweet now in comparison to the other bullshit that came out So in response what that was happening J Cole came out with his new album or EP Was I should call my delete later? Yeah, so as she came out first of all my pain great album I enjoyed enjoyed the album from the beginning and I'm saying that as a nigga is pretty indifferent to J Cole I'm not like a J Cole stand, but then they go definitely rapping his ass off But he had a song called Seven-minute drill and he was in that he had a verse specifically for Kendrick I thought it was friendly and kind and not very beefy people, you know responded in kind after it came out But a few weeks like a few days later I Thought it was a good this I thought it was a good legitimate diss that kept it lyrical.
He wasn't like super fucking personal He wasn't he kept it on some regular traditional rap beef type shit Like you know your album was some it and he gets me a gas and you up and shit like that I get that it wasn't super personal like people are kind of getting now But I thought it was a good this you know saying in the traditional sense of it I wish there was more of that going on than what's going on now I don't have to say I'm just a little bit I will say that I thought it was I agree with what's going but I think it was something It seemed like it was forced Like I didn't mean to thought I had I put it like I was talking to my own boy I was like he's rapping like he's like with that nigga I don't really want to do this like you don't really want to say nothing negative about Kendrick cuz he does Like he tried to he's tried to sign Kendrick more than once like he or another yeah like when Kendrick was first getting on and Jake Cole was first getting on like everybody was fucking with Jake Cole like when you go back to the to the freshman album Cover and shit like that like jay Cole was on but Kendrick wasn't necessarily on So when he like went out of Cali and shit and Kendrick was rapping he was like yo this nigga is nice Like he started reaching out to Kendrick they were supposed to do albums together like they were cool And he was trying to get this nigga sign to what's his Dreamville or whatever fucking is he was trying to get then they go dream bill of course I mean it didn't work out and they were still kept being cool Cole still not like He's he's got that little piece of LeBron in him I feel like where he's just not a killer and he's not just gonna be like fuck Kendrick and go all the way out He's gonna defend his own cuz he's on his own little quest to be that nigga So he's not gonna be no whole about it But I don't think he's ever gonna fully put Kendrick in the ground the way that he should and it's not the beef That's right. Yeah, so I also thought it was a good little dis little jab back You know what I'm saying? He didn't like he said it seemed like he was just trying to keep him at bay And I feel at the time I was like well, I think the competitive nature in him made him want to respond You know what I'm saying especially while he's getting ready to drop an album and you know and it could be anything like a The last pretty much the last two years is making a bit on like feature fucking Flaming role niggas. So one of the homies Mike lip We kind of battle these he's more J.
Cole than Kendrick and I'm more tempted than they cold We've kind of you know whenever then it gets they cold would drop some that niggas and it linked to me So I thought it was cool. I thought it was rapid. Well, I like the EP to that it was snapping on that shit too I just thought it was funny that so many people can't just listen with dislike Just non-biased ears, right? So I never saw this this many J Cole fans until he was Disincendrix.
So all the niggas that hate Kendrick jump on the J Cole bandwagon I'm like I'm a J Cole fan, you know, I like they go and I like Kendrick I might be more to a skin a little bit, but I can still recognize like oh good this, you know All right, just niggas rap it. So many like you know J Cole you man They go see look at that niggas shit on Kendrick blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. We gotta think it's even come from like niggas Don't even support J. Cole like that.
So that's that's why I was after this. All right So what happened after that later that weekend? I mean I had dream fist So so before we leave the album. Yeah, we now talk about the elephant in the room that nobody wants to talk about on My delete later and that to me is like the best track on the fucking album.
Hi. No, not to me The best track on album is ready 24 with Cameron. Oh, Ray 24 slides Ray 24 slides like Cameron I was like camera on this sound good that nigga sounded good as fuck like that nigga snap Oh, yeah, but in that Cameron's Yeah Yeah, Cameron sounds like cuz it's funny cuz even on the podcast on his podcast feed they be having him like on his account Their account on Instagram or every real free style that we know and then I feel like after they had that versus like actually put a Battery in his bag. I think sounds I did out my giddy Who he was doing it for it was a brand name was on a subway I think it was I think it went all the way in Give us some he's gonna have to give us a EP or something like he get rid of like this like you can't You can't get people that and like go back to it is what it is like Cruising oh yeah, you did yeah, sorry No, you know it's like on that shit, but um I was down again.
I was about I think I've won a few albums I could listen to over and over again this year so at this least at this point But yeah going back to so the next thing was they had Dreamfest other their music festival that weekend and J Cole went and gave this announcement talking about how he feels bad. I'm paraphrasing felt bad about putting out the first It wasn't him it didn't feel natural to him and it's kind of an erkin ever since I'm the album that he was released So you want to like say you know bow out No, I respect Kendrick and if you come back and respond to me I'll take that one on the chin that was a big response from the hip-hop community like a lot of rappers like I know Joe blood and we'll talk about it crazy a lot of things went in I thought it was I thought it was healthy like I thought it was Him being his authentic self, which is J Cole's person on the anyway Like he just a real nice nigga he's comfortable in his skin, so I thought that was I thought it was good I think I didn't see the vitriol. I'm get it or understand it Maybe comes the regular ass nigga and a rapper or whatever But I guess Nick is still here because a rapper is supposed to be about competition But I think it was just healthy it was something he didn't want to be involved in and I think we get older We get older like when shit bothers you and feel like you're not in your natural element that shit does I mean irks me so I feel like that's why most niggas only get to a certain age They just get into their groove and get comfortable doing the shit they like to do even if it's not necessarily exciting or fun There's just like you get into that mode where you like I'm all about what just feels right and feels healthy to me So I respected it. I'm wondering what y'all thoughts were about I guess the 180 took that thought was cool I don't think it was a 180 I mean the album is called the EP is called my delete later like isn't that isn't he doing exactly what the album is called?
Also, he think it was like a premeditated. Yeah, I think he was always gonna do this. Let me okay I think he's just deleting it later. I think he was like alright I'm gonna just put this shit out there and I'm gonna say what I gotta say and then I'm gonna take it down Just a lot of letting niggas know like I'm not hiding from you But I think I was always a fucking player I wouldn't so I was mad at it, but I wasn't mad at it You know I'm saying like it's like more so disappointed like damn because you thought this was gonna read everything up You know I'm saying alright.
It's here. We go we finally get back to this, you know back and forth rap competition They get a chance to with a chest that shit and then all of a sudden it was like Rug you know fool from under you because at this point it was like well damn what does Kendrick do now? Like is it cool but Kendrick did this nigga back now after he did say some shit or you know Is Drake gonna come next or you know it all the shit squat so it was kind of like It's kind of a limbo. We kind of got excited for something and then they should kind of shut down But I'm with you too like if it was never gonna be a good beat if a nigga nigga's heart went in it You know I'm saying and that's what I always say about fucking Between I feel like Kendrick and like J Colton Drake like whenever they go rap about Drake Then it says that shit was chest like they make it really feels like I feel like you can I think they think they Think I beat them up that's how the nigga rap like if we have the same room So I respect it and you know hindsight now good thing that they get to fuck out the way like these niggas go at it Yeah, I would so my thoughts now that time has passed and we've seen how everything transpired and we'll get into it is so the next step was Drake came out with his response last weekend For one I think Drake's rollout was weird because at first they said it was a leak Then it was leaked and then they said when the people niggas heard the leak they assumed it was AI And then there's been a whole string of what they call AI leaks which is all that strange to me It's so funny to me so Drake did his response called drop and give me 15.
Well, let's address that Alright, so the leak came out right here and Because it was such a shady unmastered leak Nigga's thought that it could be AI and that's what can we live in an age now where we have the second guess everything that we hear alright so It takes some of the fun out of here in the disc because you can't be like oh shit because you don't know if it's really the motherfucker's Sandice it so now you're like oh that's it I can't really comment that you don't want to be the asshole make it a post it I'll just think of it often like what what that was a I got your ass. Yeah, so they get so negative You know don't know if it's real this fake. I think that the real version came out after her to leak It came out in the same day So maybe on a six to eight hours the master when he had my I got the link for that Yeah, never the original like it's original week version, but we don't think we don't think about it I thought I mean we talk about the actual verse so the first time he's dropping Give me 50 so he's basically alluding to apparently Top doll TV entertainment who Kendrick is signed to apparently was with the motor I was right was that they he had to give up like half half the slits of like 50 50 so it's the drop and give me 50 All right, and basically Drake was saying that like top dog make you do this shit Make you do them a little peppers. They made you do a virtual to swift ease a Taylor Swift first Like you gotta do everything just make it say it's which to me that angle really didn't do it for me personally He just future This let's be dis on that always get something like getting locked locked up like Ricky Rose a something like that So he talked about Rick Ross about I travel scotch over me.
Yeah, right met her woman said do some drums make a visual that we said that you're kind of hard Oh, you know, you definitely had some some good jams again. I I thought it was a good this Kind of a little bit too Which is crazy right? Very pot called the kettle black is to me Well, I mean, but that doesn't hurt Drake cuz Drake is all Drake is a grassy You know I'm saying like that doesn't hurt Drake to call him a sellout But Kendrick is not really supposed to be that he's not supposed to doing songs with Taylor Swift and shit right so so Again, I thought it was a solid solid this solid this song If I'd like to better than J Cole if we were like scoring it like right now It would be up 1 0 0, you know what I'm saying. So you thought it was better than like that Yeah, because it was a whole song and this make a drink actually address at least five niggas on it You know I'm saying minimum five niggas.
I don't know why they dress on it It's a battle it had good delivered in these battles a lot of times the delivery is more important than the delivery of flow is more Important than the lyrics a lot of the times and Drake had real good delivery and flow on the shit that he was saying Jake Oh, gave us a lot of lyrics and not necessarily the best flow And I feel like I might have chosen a different beat for the drink this but I mean all in all It was cool little solid the guy because you know I'm saying In people picking sides. So all the Drake levels were like oh shit, you know, the king has spoken blah blah blah So, you know, I know you don't really like Drake's or what you think chef about it. I mean I thought it was a good response But the thing is I think that I think like that was more potent Just because of the delivery the fact that it's still it's been number one for three for the past three weeks and And I just I mean I don't think I don't think Drake. I think it was like a warm-up for Drake really I don't know if I was really like is I'm not gonna knock niggas the fuck out And I also don't know if he necessarily has it in him because we never saw the end of what happened with him and push So I don't I don't know you know say like and this is coming from like I don't like drinking school It's not it's not a secret, but I think you're bashed and think it was like he was going for it really which is fine, right?
so since then then And what in person was everybody thought it was a leak a versus supposed legal's Kendrick right so yeah It has some some shots in there come to find out the nigga who did it is on the TikTok like that was me And let me show you how I did it right just the corniest like stupidest shit again. What is actually like Like you're not gonna tell man people get a follow is done. That's only one of those That's crazy like you're not even gonna monitor that you just don't have more people looking at you and engagement Have the comments like you was a fucking cornball like you were wrong with the world your But it is what's wrong with music though. I think it's an indicator of how diluted this shit has gotten like it was funny Because the day that shit came out.
I was just laying in the bed and I played I played no Vaseline and I played either I just wanted to hear some shit, you know saying you know how good like Those songs are great songs. They're mean as fuck, but they're great songs Like I don't know if we get that you know saying well I think we do I think so since then there's been this other great this where he's he keeps referring to Whitney Which is Kendra's life so what I can when I come out. Oh, yeah, that's maybe two days ago Again, it could be AI But it sounds like this nigga for real. So we'll see if this is the real if you know that again I think with a lot of what I like what Drake is doing is leaking shit Oh, somebody's team of leakage is to see what the response is and then if it's positive thing is going to get That we should come out.
Yeah, that's that's that's that's so chef some shit to your point chef I mean we don't have enough time to do no Vaseline's and takeovers worse either So we understand when the takeover came out either did come out till months later You're right. We don't have that type of time for Kendrick to put out a song When was that March? They both were album because take over was on blue for well I mean nobody was putting out a song unless it was on an album How else people to listen to music? Yeah, it had to be on Yeah, you're right.
So I mean I guess it's a different way we can soon use it for sure I do want to talk about rig rock cuz I am a rig rock Well, let's go don't so we all think Kendra's coming back and how hard you think Kendra's If I haven't heard him when you say he's talking about his wife now if they can talk about a nigga wife That is a different I mean, that's about Whitney and the in the real one like this last Who about what you say about her? She likes candy? No, he says nothing about something about Whitney body go body guard like So who can you be coming at right? We want to now focus on right?
Right. I think he was always trying to come in Drake, but I think you have to be direct now No, I don't think it was ever Drake Kendrick's been coming at J Cole for years like his subliminal for J Cole has been for years They are primary rivals. I thought control was about Drake, but they are primary rivals Kendrick has always had shots against Cole and Cole's fire back with his subs as well. It's never been about Drake Because it's a package deal and also you kind of got to take shots in your drink because Drake is the biggest thing in hip-hop music whether you like I mean no rapper should cuz he's Drake is a pop star He's not from that world that most traditional rappers are so it makes sense to come at Drake Cuz if you if you're a real nigga in rap, how do you not come in Drake?
That's why I don't like him. I mean I feel like I still like I always say people think it's weird I did I'm not a fan because he totally took my taste aisle. I don't pay up. I love paying a font a so I was like That's not cool.
Like he had niggas brought you under and he took a niggas whole flow and made my aunt sing And I mean you don't sing as good as that nigga But he took that whole nigga style and made the joys and became famous because you have a better look And I just thought that was fucked up. So I mean that's why I feel I'm not gonna say it's just look I mean Drake Drake was Very serendipitous in the fact that the content in the music that he was putting out Almost fit the times perfectly right right like the shit that he was talking about it was just it was so in sync with what 20 somethings and early 20 somethings were going through and what they were experiencing Right. Yeah, he was just real emo and introspective, you know I'm saying um, which that's kind of how that generation started becoming you know saying about the feelings and niggas wasn't talking about feeling at that point and then women look you know, partly because of the packaging again and partly because of his I guess sensitivity or his vulnerability of what he was saying at the time so 40 was 40 was doing this fucking thing and also hip-hop had just come off the wave of unreliable music Like it was trap drugs and excess and like He got to the point where I don't even understand what these niggas is talking about and that might be it might be jz's fault Because jz kind of took us to that point and we're like I don't even know what these niggas is talking about It's so rich at this point. Drake kind of brought it back to let me get the Wi-Fi code and everybody that resonates with everybody Sneaking in girls dorms and shit like that.
It was like more relatable shit So let's get back to Ross. So he had a response to Drake two hours later. So when he had that shit And was really just released it whenever But But um, so she calls champagne dreams Uh, I thought it was fun. The thing about rig Ross is that's he a funny nigga So is is a diss track from him which I think him and 50 has some shit back in the day about or was it just worried?
We had song against the show that they had post I think they paid each other but um, so I never heard rig Ross Disney by for real, but the end of it where you just started roasting that nigga and jonin on him that shows hilarious and um I enjoyed it. I enjoyed the shit being funny Um, I know somebody was like On our listeners was like I didn't think it was funny to talk about him being biracial And I was like I think it's fucking hilarious I think it's the most sort of nigga thing. Yeah I think it really just depends on how you fuck with that type of personality because Make no mistake, right? Rick Ross does not belong in this battle.
Um In my opinion as great as music as Rick Ross makes Rick Ross is not a good rapper um Rick Ross I listen to Rick Ross tracks. I'm like this nigga barely even uses metaphors Like Rick Ross literally he's got a great delivery and flow But what he says is exactly what's happening bitch. I'm riding in my fucking car with the top down because it's hot in Miami There's nothing else to that. That's just the weather And it's gonna be on a bomb ass fucking beat and he's gonna talk about rich shit And that's really all that fucking is but it's good fucking music His rap is aspirational rap.
It's not like some shit where it's like lyrical miracle shit. It's more like man So when I listen to it, he has to be funny because if he's not funny Like if he doesn't have like sweet ass fucking jokes, what are we doing here? Like there was no lyrical double and triple untounders and metaphors that we were gonna unpack It really just had to be talking shit about niggas. He's doing a great job with that Don't get me wrong.
Like if we're just in the shit talking Rick Ross is is excelling, but as far as they wrap this Yeah, no, I mean half of the shit was really just him talking over at track talking shit Right So yeah, as a disong it was subpar If you if you're a Rick Ross fan, you definitely got some chuckles out of it Florida niggas like do like to call a nice getting his life away at this FYI I mean, that's just what I think you're gonna do So yeah, so Rick Ross responded What you also had So the second was this look we still don't trust you came out and had a zap rocky on their talking shit about Drake Which is understandable because Drake definitely took some shots at the nigger for all the dogs and Rihanna Uh, and I think somebody else might have oh the weekend. Oh, yeah, we can jump into so it's a whole lot of like As well as the Drake this one on this response So yeah, and again the question everybody's asking is like what the fuck did Drake do to all these niggas like Niggas really don't fuck with this nigga and this is big as we've done numerous Countess fucking songs with albums with putting niggas on all types of shit You know, I make money for niggas here I mean it's interesting though. I mean it feels like if you if a nigga if that's a recurring thing Like niggas have made money with you is either one of the two one or two things in my opinion either All these niggas just a hateful mouth focus, which you know is the thing or Drake's done something to piss these niggas off individually. What is it?
It can't be oh One related right like I don't these niggas ain't that Tender kicked well, they might be where here the only thing I can think of maybe is that this nigga Drake in the fucking pillow topic Like I can think of those Like I can't think of like oh Drake. I guess what they call yeah, you know They're she's like pretty nigga's they get a bathroom and then I get laying up would be like I heard you start sucking niggas dick in the bathroom most of the dead like how the fuck you know that be like A little bird told me don't worry about it, but that's all the things that you know that you didn't get a totally She come back and she told me guys on three days in the bathroom And then you caught people like damn and like make it on and you'd be like damn You're like now I did be lying to shit Like I feel like maybe that's the only thing I can see because I can't see it all over like all you Fucking with the same chick it has to be like a level deeper than that I mean Rick Ross said that he didn't fuck with why he unfollowed him and do all that shit because he sent a cease and assist Fridge my channel That was a fish so I think he just greened aggravating I think you're just annoying because these niggas are coming at Drake But not these niggas are like really really really mad at like nobody's like try to like shoot this niggas Like beat this nigga up yet like they're not that level of man yet. They're just I don't fuck it I'm gonna talk shit about your track being the messy aggravate niggas doesn't warrant getting beat up though It just go man. I'm gonna get my nerves But I mean it's easy to I mean there's so many reasons not to like Drake Right maybe each one likes any for different reasons.
I'm going pick one I mean at the fundamental at the fundamental level of it is like there's a Subset of niggas that are more talented to than this niggas but will never reach his level of success I mean just not fundamental. I'm not talking about there actually jealous I'm not talking about envy But just know that you're better at this nigga than whooping but you will never make as much money as this nigga like and Stack on top of that this niggas green is for and aggravating and it's not even from America Canadian would probably hurt my feelings the most because he also lived a sweet life He didn't live no hard life and get it out the mud and nothing like that. He was like a child star Yeah, it's a lot. I mean I mean LDRic is hilarious.
So it is BBL Thursday's niggas is His nose thing cuz I didn't realize he did slim his nose down. I think it did have a schnozz on him now Like like Rick Ross is the poster child for a nigga. I know you not fucking talking like he's the poster child of that niggas I think I'm talking about you guys body-dude and they like you can't say that cuz he fell like Nick Ross has been back They don't that don't work on him. You could body shame whoever really I feel that's how Drake is with lame like Drake has been like lame and goofy like all Drake Raymond goofy is always He's always been at what like Nick is post-degrassie videos like they were obscure on on YouTube or something like nigga.
We all know this right Well, this is fun. I mean we'll see how it goes I will say I feel like once Rick Ross got into the fray. This is just starting to feel a bit contrived. I will say that We'll see what happens next.
I mean I need to see here some real shit at this point because it's feeling kind of like WWE a little bit now Well, I'm something that was my point a minute ago like if you're Kendrick do you want to get into this shit like now? So now it's not rap beef no more. It's social media trolling at this point It's also 50 cent types and 50 is actually even like getting in on this shit So it's like if you're Kendrick and you're of this ilk of rapping and it's not even at rap beef no more Is it even worth it to get into it? What's the saying?
If you roll in the mud with pigs, you're not gonna get money in the pig likes it or whatever fuck this like it's that type It's that type of situation Like you know saying you're literally You make my dogs get me Yeah, you roll that you run with patient. You don't get money yet. Yeah, so is that type of situation like is it worth it for you? Cuz you know you're not by to get in the internet trolling You know saying really the only two people that like that type of shit is Drake and Rick Ross 50 cent Yeah, but so we can move on after this.
How do you think this affects the music industry as a whole now, right? Because Now it's almost like Drake is on his own now, right? So no more drink you to no one drink Rick Ross You know no more Metro boom and drink no more, you know saying you got a whole City of Atlanta is probably gonna be you know, maybe feeling the way towards this nigga, but who knows it's making Drake's in like a drumline I'm out of Magic City. Yeah, I personally think a rap is fucked right now Because We have Drake where he's at and Drake's not putting out elite music anymore at all Rick Ross is really not putting out music like that.
I mean he puts out stuff every now and then but he's also old as fuck at this point Effectively Whatever the fucking land of music is called now is if it has jumped to the shark I don't know if it's still if it's still trapped or if it's whatever the Atlanta music scene right now That shit is jumped the shark, you know, say hey people only consuming in small bites, right? So what is the mainstream rap right now like niggas is excited over benny to butcher and fucking Freddy like Freddy gives Like just give me anything Give me anything that sounds like fucking something new fresh or some hip-hop shit There's nothing right now. You got even R&B you got Beyonce making country albums and shit like thank God We get some sizzling every now and then or be like black music as a whole is like I need to take a break In general I do agree with you, but the thing is I feel like all this beef manufactured or natural I mean organic rather it feels unnatural at this point has least made hip-hop a little more exciting Unfortunately the problem is they're not backing none of this shit up with albums I will say Jake Cole is gonna have an album Jake Cole is gonna come out the best album of the year I will say that both of future's albums and I'm not a future fan by any stretch of the imagination I like to listen to the song the new one was like like R&B future, which is actually good like the production was top-notch It sounded good So Atlanta has that to hang on like Atlanta's gonna hang on future and be like Oh, we least we got future and future is a is a man state and hip-hop. So I'm not happy that that's what we have to look forward to future I mean hip-hop needs a middleweight competitor and it doesn't have one I would say Kendrick produced more music Which has always been my issue?
He could be he just be consistent. I would feel better about the overall makeup if I was okay, Jake Cole He's allegedly retiring with this album He could go but these Kendrick makes something every nine months or something like that, but he doesn't so yeah, I agree I mean, I don't know what's next because I don't know Big Sean The big Sean got Like big Sean and why they like they used to be kind of raw back Those were your those were your middleweight competitors like you needed the white ladies of the work you needed these people to carry the value Because the guys at the high end can't carry the volume by themselves, you know, and they're probably not because they're not coming out I remember you there's nobody in the middle I was like we really been wrapping good Right yeah that that that middle-care big Sean while they Um Me neither make them use it anymore I think it's not the shark with championships We gotta put a cease this is on jumping the shark now. We've done it twice jumping the shark is jump the shark That's really it's shark week right But I mean it's insane for us. I'm saying you know what I would really like to hear right now a camera on album like that's insane He I do want to hear a camera.
I think that's a true and that's and that should let you everything That should tell you everything you need to know about the state of hip-hop right now. I could really go for a camera on How much ghost space would be back in the booth nigga, right? If those things maybe I'll model this I'll be I'd be so fucking happy and then go on tour after like let's let's run all this shit back If the roots finally just stop bullshitting and release their album that they've been working off the past seven years I'd be happy with that if you're if you're at old not old not old niggas Not a great time for you to drop an album Like I mean I was sitting at home like now is like old niggas do like contemporary urban rap I've been mad at stealing Good rapping shape. I never I've never said this before in my entire life and don't tell Mike live I said neither I could go for a jz album right now like Just something you know I'm saying we need some some their middle weights now.
It's just to fill up the volume with just some good music Yeah, I agree. We'll see what comes with this, but the only thing that really needs to come out of this is Everyone's point. I'm albums like music good music So we don't switch over to a song for tone. Um, rest in peace to oj Simpson Oj Simpson, uh No, because I mean we had a discussion didn't we about oj like does oj deserve to rest in peace?
Yeah I started the giving god. I don't know about you saying I think we all serve the same god Like like if we go on stick to the script on christianity If you if you confess your sins And you accept god is your savior you will see the kingdom of heaven now you might work in a call center But you're gonna be there you know saying so um I feel like that's what it takes The thing about that sounds so interesting About go j died by a spoolie last week. It was a tense when he found my past Everyone re-litigated his trial. Hey, I was like this is insane white folks rejoiced.
I was like I think it did it Black folks was sad and then it was like Black folks were sad I was But the thing is people I don't know people people worse because the thing about oj was oj was always just a symbol He was never a human being like yet to understand like he wasn't a human being in the sense that we saw him as that we saw him as Indication of what happened when rock and king got beat up by the lapd It was never about him as a individual because we didn't really know like I know shit about that I just knew he was a nigga from our perspective as kids He was on the NFL today and he did the hurts commercials and he was on the naked gun Um being a coon so that's what I knew of him before all that shit happened Was he a coon on the naked guy? He was oh hell yeah he was I don't think we even had coon in like that that's everybody was the one on tv You know I'm saying like I was getting hurt That was just a shtick man. I think it was Like he was playing oj like he was running through the airport like it was a lot of um That's how you're there. Yeah, and it's the naked gun.
That's like airplane like it's right that type of comedy I am putting my bias on it. I didn't like the naked gun is a franchise. I don't like that I like it was just already like space balls. It's not released.
Don't you speak bad about space balls. Space balls is different space balls It's funny, but it's the same type of company. It's the same brand company Hey boy air so all right so airplane the jive scene. How did you feel about it?
Okay, but that's racist It was funny because it was leaving the beaver mama, but it was a blatantly racist scene that jive was i think it was talking jive instead Yeah, but it was too bad right it was there. It was pure stereotypes and black people speaking jive. No it was it was Um, I agree with that but and again That'll make me don't never mind That's just hilarious But um because they're honestly I watched I'm gonna get you sucka like last week on two weeks I didn't appreciate it as a kid shit was hilarious last week. So yeah For those watching to watch i'm gonna get you suck on two people by the way, but yeah, so anyway I was I was saying was like ro days more like a symbol of A blackness and the justice system and the injustice is happening as opposed to him being like a real person because we think about Oh days a real person wasn't the best like the coolest nigga You know saying like he you know he fuck with us So I think it was sad in that sense because the symbol of him died in a time where Dei program was getting shut down.
I think it just it's just harder to be a nigga again So it was it'll just kind of fucked up in that sense I did like the fact that he his personal goals make sure them crackers. I'm getting all money off of him Um from the mosses so I'm props them before one last penny move before he went to where we went Um, I think oj deserves the rest in peace I don't feel that we need to spit on oj's gray or anything like that. Oh, so what they gonna be doing that I mean, I just think that's unnecessary. I don't think he was about to cry No, no, no, no, no, I don't I I think it's again.
I think it's because of his delivery. I I want to say I don't think oj was that bad of a person but oj was that bad of a person and But he's not like but he's not like evil bad, you know saying like he's done very bad thing like don't give me role Okay, but like on a scale of One to Donald Trump, right? Like I can't put him down on his evil, you know saying fucking oj is a fucking mischievous rap scallion Would you call oj a fucking? Absolutely, okay Hey, oh yeah But but that's my thing but that's my thing though oj has lived enough life and he You can't say that motherfucker did not live life to the fucking fullest he probably he not probably he deserved that 75 He probably did a little longer than he should have It was just time for him to go like oj didn't deserve to live to the ripe old age of 105 He just didn't he didn't do enough good to have that that blessing So him leaving this earth while I don't need to kick dirt on him when he's going into the ground It's probably in the storybook of oj.
It's probably about right that he leaped his earth at this time And just call it that okay. He made it a little earlier than what it did you whatever Let's just call it that call it even good night oj and move on about our fucking business And his parents So um, so rest in peace oj Uh, rest in peace to rego a He passed this past uh weekend. I don't know if they disclosed what happened, but he was he was young he was 52 years old Regalway was one of the founders of organizing noise and really set the tone in terms of hip hop in Atlanta Creating all the artists coming out of the dungeon family Very talented artists producer And a and r so rest in peace to rego a did you have any favorites coming from organizing noise outcast that Resinated with y'all upon hearing of his passing I mean, I mean first outcast and first pretty mob album. I mean instrumental class all of that right, so Uh, that's the piece we go with Um, did we say recipes?
Loo it blue gas and june. Oh, yeah Loo got it fucking junior. Hey, there's a name I haven't heard in a long time. Hey, when do you die?
I don't know. It's like over a couple weeks ago. A couple weeks ago. Chappie.
Chappie is dead got that uh You're born in the eight I think that's you said like a plate. Yeah, I think I played on a lot of shit man. Who? Who does?
Oh, yeah, I don't think we're a champion iron eagle nigga But iron eagle probably Some of his best work that most of us like as I can see motherfuckers don't realize in the eighties and nineies Yes, there was iron eagle three It was nigga's make a movie by anything in the eighties and nineties Richard Lewis died Yeah, he did Was probably most known now for being on uh curbing enthusiasm Uh call weather's died and talk about that Yeah, that was a while back. Yeah, that was in January. All right, sure But um, should we get all the deaths out the way? And mr.
C pass as well That's what's put on over your mouth and then breathe Mr. C pass All right, I didn't want to make a joke out of me right now That was a business to see the jokey Well, I know this is a Need to take care of themselves man. I mean ultimately people that mean like I don't know why there's an expectation that everybody lives on the Rifle age of a hundred like it just does everything gives you cancer Because plastic and lead and I'll have to see them food Eat it all up and put it warm it up in the microwave Let me grow a day and I don't know that you got the micro plastics speaking of which veggie water had to recall a whole bunch of water So if you're drinking the water I'll be drinking the bottles the bottles have micro plastics in it Jesus Christ if you're still using teflon Teflon causes cancer cookware microwave popcorn all that has tough on it and you gotta check your air fryers too Anything that is non-stick Oh, I don't use any non-stick cookware in my house, bro I'm about to switch that shit out. I I'm gonna use a good cash time and skillet and a good carbon steel skillet and that's about it You can have I would recommend one non-stick pan just to cook something like eggs I mean, it's mostly what I cook it's eggs and then some vegetables sometime But you gotta you gotta learn how to cook eggs not like black people There we go.
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait Looking down on the roads That's a baby on segment. We're looking down right. This is my segment first off black people cook their food. Oh, I have a temperature, okay Wait to have a temperature like you should not be cooking eggs on medium high like that.
It's just not that's not what we're here to do So how should you cook your eggs? It should be below medium. Okay, I'll do that. It should take it honestly.
It should take you More than five minutes to cook scrambled eggs. Not that you should eat scrambled eggs. They're fucking child food Fucking kids baby food. Oh, but if you don't scramble eggs, it should take you longer than five minutes to cook scrambled eggs I'm a baby Scrambled eggs I would say that all right and wait should you store your butter?
Uh in two places I store my butter that I'm actively using in the fridge. Oh, okay, butter that I'm actively using I will keep in a crock on the uh next There's stuff. I don't know the crockies So it's a little bowl that you put your butter in it. You know the same way you do like country crock.
That's in the dish It's just out in it's at room temperature in his butter I'll put my butter in there and this is been wood Looking down on the room I need to get some music. Yeah, we do We gotta be like shitty grand music I would absolutely love to shit on black people every week with us like that. I would really love Speaking of shitting on black people red lobster's file from bankruptcy. What a slap in the face to the black community I thought red lobster is red lobster just found it from bankruptcy or did the whole family or something?
A family They haven't been apart darden almost ten years Darden sold that piece off because the red lobster towers in downtown Orlando. They have a tower time out Yeah, the red lobster tower niggas next to the a-lock downtown What do they do? They test kitchen they corporate headquarters is all downtown Orlando Niggas got a tower like it's google. Yeah, it's got the red lobster thing on top of it You can stop by anytime go to the top floor in your free biscuits.
They're always biscuits on it Hey boy, that's a great question. Like the cookies and like the lobby of the like upstairs Like the double trailer you go to the double jig of them keys But yeah, they're filing for bankruptcy which makes me wonder because i've never seen an empty red lobster It makes me wonder if niggas was stealing I think well they would lose a lot of it was shrimp They used to have all you could eat crab legs now. That's oh now that was a kind Tennessee street I Had y'all's order changed every lobster like over the past decade. I've been getting emerald's fees for as long as I can remember at this one So, all right, so I got a question, right?
Why do you choose the emerald or the ultimate? The ultimate cuz with the lobster tail, right? I think I think that might be different. I'm not really big on that state.
That's why And I swap out the clam strips Clamestries we kind of says every last You go you go to relaunter twice a day twice a year. Oh, so you don't I think that's frequent like I don't really go to a bunch of years That's not frequent. I mean if you put in the grand rotation of restaurants, I think that's a good amount of time It's place you guys five times in a month I say that you can say that you feel go there, but you don't like Really I think I used to go more when I lived in Atlanta and then when I was in college Oh special occasions, but when I was in in Atlanta, I used to live by the one on camcreek place to go out with all the time Because also they had Over there. So I mean they had a good bar at great service and had the booze over there.
So it's good That's we all live in cities where you can get fresh seafood Yeah With that being said the last time I was in red lobster, which was I don't know maybe a couple of months back might have been telling you Last year they have more fresh menu items like they have locally caught Seafood in there. So I don't that presents a challenge if you're in the land lot area like Orlando But maybe they like bringing it from cocoa, which I suppose I'll let you get a long island Uh, no, I haven't gotten a long island in a while um But yeah, that was kind of they had the best on the long farm in it. So yeah, because I was wondering I I was wondering if it was because their quality had so a couple once I heard they were fucking going out of business I was like well if I was a well if I was a bankruptcy, I was like well I know they stopped doing the all-you-do-eat grab things because they was too much money so they stuck with the tramps I thought maybe that was like sure might not be that expensive Then I was thinking if the quality go down like in Applebee's or Fridays like Fridays was still unacceptable At the workspot at one point, but they've gone down to shit Applebee's they poured themselves out would be fucking 20 cent margaritas Whatever what they doing now It's just the quality is going down. Um, and I was wondering did make it get too bougie with yes, yes, niggas That's right.
Yes, I'm going and stop passing that down to the children Right. I was like you go to red lobster after graduation, you know, I'm saying like that used to be a spot But like now they just need lamb chops. I love red lobster. That's where she went for a birthday last year My shoes like although she was like, oh, you're gonna use like a lobster.
I'm like, all right I'm gonna do family go to dinner as a family a lot that much anymore like Good job at baseball. We had y'all wanting to get baseball game. All right. We going to fucking relops or are we going?
We going to see we going to pizza and hit the buffet like it's just The pizza definitely Yeah, Johnny's good. Yeah for breakfast though Go hard but I grew up eating Johnny's dinner too. So I ain't too proud. They have I feel like And be perfectly fine with it and just happy Just fucking happy now.
I'm all the fucking that damn fuck your old needs a fucking salmon fillet stuffed with fucking crawfish and shit It's like the baby don't need that Oh, shut up. I'll be remiss when they told me about red lobster because she still I I hit up one day I went here. She was like, hold on. Let me get my order right.
She was like in the background I heard it so you don't take it time to whisper when they can't have somebody they order. All right Is it is it enough biscuits for two meals? I like the what? My dinner for today and tomorrow They should have got enough biscuits like last night.
They get enough biscuits. We'll get two biscuits per meal They only gave me two biscuits for two meals. I make it I'm sure that's it. Oh, I think they get in Atlanta Red lobster for the fuckers Well, we destroyed the A-Rid I don't know.
I'm sure Atlanta probably might have two or three right as an Atlantic classic one year Me t-streets Lodi and it just happened to be in the shrimp and we literally said in there like uh Belly when wise and lucky it was in there Just like I can just and talk shit for like two hours like eating shrimp and there was another time I went with some of my um High school classmates in Atlanta and then she overheard us the waitress overheard us say something about Tallahassee She's like oh you guys uh from Tallahassee we like now went to college in Tallahassee She's like oh my god. I went to flustey. No, no, no, she proceeds to bring out to go boxes and like just whatever you don't let me know Yeah, if you could get that good to go box. Hey, what everything's just an idea from there Right Sometimes I got sometimes I got looks on low to a little people We got something Yeah, the WNBA draft Say the WNBA draft I watched it Okay, number seven saying I guess that makes us not real but I just want to see where um for angel went really I will say shots of the Pacers.
Oh, why do you say it like this? Well, how'd I say it? Oh, it was very affectionate. I just wanted to see what angel went Like I mean, I did want to see where she went.
It was a very I follow you home every night diamond type of right. Oh relax I Think it was a creek. Anyway, let's Family Let's see Anyone crazy anyway, um, yes, I'll watch it. Uh, I was happy to see Caitlyn clarvik is my land for Huh my rent my rent.
Yeah, I think I'm hiring Caitlyn clarick is going to indian fever So I'll be fine to see your feet event Yeah, I fuck with the fever. I mean, you know, we haven't had a lot of rage, right? We haven't had a squad for a while. I mean we won last.
I only won the um, one of WNBA championship in 2012 So that's when we had to make a catch-ins who've been good, but um, we've been kind of trashy the past three years So uh past five or six years So I think we're due to be uh solid again. So I'm looking forward to that. Um, I know it's they're already selling out games Which is good for the you know good for the game in general. So it was cool.
Um, I was interested because they said she wore Prada outfit. This is the first time Prada dressed an NBA player Like a NBA player or WNBA player Uh, and it was surprising. I mean, I think it's probably where Prada on their own like which is the stolen body, but yeah, Prada still cracking Yeah, Prada got some pieces, huh? No, America's cups are back.
Yeah, I'm doing America's cups again here. I don't remember I'm being that much though No, they've been that much and I'm gonna tell you right now, but I definitely thought I was gonna give you some cheap ones Now and then he goes anywhere and he laid down no more. It's like you mind They got hella looking for America's cups for home coming like a couple of years ago And I was like wait, I thought maybe one fuck with these no more like that. I was like, I'm sure N Because She she didn't she didn't win shit So Why do you say she didn't win shit?
She's all before the game was even played. She's probably one of the most I want to use provocative for lack of a better term. The rocket of stories in basketball Because she's a white girl at cooking. No, I don't think it's because she's just a white girl.
She she Of course it is. So you're saying she's not like man or woman. You're saying she's not one of the best shooters in basketball I mean, she's not even the best Um, one of the basketball player. There's two women that outscored her, but they're old black women So no one's gonna say nothing about them.
But netwood were would her played with niggas on the harlot globetrotters She's a hooper in a time. I was like, right? I thought she was about to say somebody who played for lsu or something like this and they gave evoked the globe trotters No, she went to University of Kansas, but she's the most scoring highest scoring woman basketball player Like I remember her doing commercials back when we was kids. How did she do the also again?
But how did how did lennet walk her way over the fucking name is how did she do with the also again? But what else are you? Oh, she didn't play the also again. Okay, got it was no women's professional basketball There's I mean, it didn't exist.
Oh, oh, okay. So she was playing against the fucking globetrotters. That's the point That's not what point that's the point like like you're trying like you're trying to shit on her that she's not I'm not sure. She's not a generational basketball player because she could play against the globetrotters.
I'm no I never said that's it. That's exactly what you just said No, I said she didn't get no sort of credit because there was no infrastructure for women's basketball But she did was a higher score. She was decorated. She did go to the Olympics and do all those things But it just wasn't anything supporting women's basketball during that time.
That's what I'm saying And I mean, you know props are heard, but I mean hell they got a lot they lost to a team that didn't lose to anyone this year You don't stand like so can't look like it. I didn't say it. What's so much? I think I said it.
I said they should have gave Don's daily in them more props So don't say what don't say what you know sort of media coverage or props or winning the women's championship And really went undefeated. That's a impressive feat given the fact that women's basketball has gotten to such a high level The talent has obviously been increased, but they still beat everyone so then they didn't get enough credit for it I mean, that's what they should I think I mean, but that's that's sports. I mean The year that LeBron James was drafted. He was a bigger story and didn't play a single college basketball game Somebody won the national championship that year.
What was the bigger story LeBron James getting drafted or then winning the national championship? It was a brian James But Syracuse was I mean, it was a big deal of Syracuse one, but no the brian James was a big deal that's off your line one But Caitlin Caitlin Clark is one of the bigger stories and not just women's basketball, but in basketball. She's a generational player How are that how is that lost where that type of talent can't go inside in that lab? Especially when Saturday life has episodes?
I mean, they're not charging by the episode. So yeah, who would we bring on from South Carolina? Are we gonna bring the team on to do a bit? Is that what your suggestion?
Like what do we? Don't should be don't should do a skid. Oh, yeah, okay. Good mark So yeah, that'd be cool.
I thought with that but um Anyway, you know, it is what it is. I mean, I'm happy for her. I'm happy she's on my team Yeah, but it wasn't equal in terms of coverage. I would say I mean, I don't think equal coverage is even a thing like you You're right.
You go with the draw you go at what's box office and I get a click as great as an accomplishment as soccer line of winning and going undefeated was The box office is still looking for yeah. Yeah, I get it. She's a white girl. Go hoop.
It's great. I get it I mean, it's not that she's a white girl heckin who You're like a shoot out out the gym like okay, she's very very good at what she does And she white we need to have white folks that are good at sports All right So the so what people are upset about are they're just now seeing how much a lot of people just now saying how much they may be in d A players make I think four years Caitlin was no one draft big It was actually slated to make like $333,000 in four years. So that breaks up like close to 80 whatever a year Um If a motherfucker they're like appalled. Um, I would like to hear wood steak on this I'm Honestly, did not know that all right?
Okay. No, that is a What do you say to people that say whether they should be getting paid as much as Uh, the guys on the NBA. Oh, no, that I don't believe that at all Do I mean the NBA players have fought for their market, right? That's not a market that was just give it to them They didn't make shit when the league was first created.
It's definitely had a wage a wage gap as far as white players and black people players were concerned The union had to fight for that shit collective bargaining all the shit that all the all the leaks have had to done to do I think women are kind of early in the game And they don't have the market share to have the leverage to say we want this sort of salary And I also don't think they've had the players to demand that as great as the women's basketball players that we've had You know in the recent pass and in the more the less recent pass there really hasn't been Not just from a talent standpoint but just from an opportunity standpoint of eyeballs watching women's basketball There hasn't been box office Right and one of the biggest reasons is the NBA but had a good product As long as the NBA is doing well, the WNBA is not going to be box office Right now the NBA is kind of boring and pointless to watch So the WNBA also, I'm sorry, not just the NBA Men's college basketball is also very much the same as the NBA That leaves an opportunity for the WNBA to come in and now be box office So now they need to come in and exercise their leverage and get more market share in their collective bargaining Yeah, I hear they're trying to expand to more teams more cities I think the Orleans might be on there because so something today where they were looking for Looking for names for new Orleans team The the magnolia or the wild magnolias, you know, of course they're gonna go with the like the storm Niggas I would not play the wild magnolias boy Yeah Yeah, so hopefully, um, I don't know who's behind their PR team or marketing team or whatever but like now is the fucking time is like literally now whatever like Like let's let's go get the jerseys. I'll get them hands out and get some some fire commercials Um, yeah, let's see Angel Reese has to keep playing the fucking bad guy like that's box office as much as people hate it It's box office people love the Caitlin Clark versus angel Reese dynamic, right? And it's taken if they can make that that Chicago Like again again again like that should be like VIP like, you know Like if I'm doing like PR whatever marketing you have La Bucey and all of whoever the fuck on the front row, you know what I'm saying? Beyond saying it to be at the game like oh that shit Like all right like, you know, this is a big thing.
So hopefully they know all that shit I mean I was I've really been entertained these last two years when this guy was fast and ball so they play good ball I mean And then having Cardos Camila Cardoso and Angel Reese on the same team is gonna be wild I think it's gonna be fun to watch anyway and in Chicago, which is a you know, sports town Hopefully they do the right thing We'll see how it goes. Hopefully they also expand. Well team thing. Don't get you no money no way At least collect the bargaining.
It's like I ain't bringing enough revenue at the individual level, but we'll see how it happens You know, they gotta they gotta figure that shit out. I mean, honestly, they might be due for a walkout I don't want to have delivered for that yet, but They might need to go talk to ice cube or something like I don't know but like bro. You can't have Caitlin Clark making $80,000 a year and they get like That's not okay. That's a that's a bad look It is pretty bad But I mean she'll get her she'll get money on the back end with endorsements, but just in general her salary being that low's crazy Yes, I mean any so I was trying to see what the 12 teams you got what cities they're in got the left and then a dream Chicago's guy Connecticut son I don't know how to say that but that was wings the mr.
Indiana fever Las Vegas faces the Los Angeles parks and The Orlando team our landos when seen but they moved Yeah, they need to get so they don't have one team in Texas. I need another team That's crazy comments used to be the one okay, so I know they need to start drafting something bad Minnesota links the Phoenix Mercury. That's it. Yeah, that's it.
Yeah Yeah, let's get some more cities in there. Mm-hmm. There's some more black black. I hate to say it and I hate to be sexually they need some more Some more pretty gals in there but they have I think they did better with that this you want to draft They got that shit on this year.
They did you know and they can tell some is gonna learn now We need to spruce these ponytails up a little bit now. We can't just do cornroll straight from the back now We gotta we gotta say all this to me from Tennessee head on from she was obviously from Detroit down bus She was obviously from Detroit. Hey, man. I'm gonna mark it for some bus man.
I need a I need a person I need a connect I feel like what's the call it? Our friend brother from Detroit I like that big example as well. Okay, okay. You said he was the buff connect because I need to I said I need some bus myself.
I get run the prescription But do bus really make you look cool other than they just make you like you from Detroit. I mean You know I'm saying I've never seen anything about I'll make it in my life So I'm gonna like Detroit, right? I think I just like the look cuz it's kind of like a um You want to you want to be a drug dealer really bad. That's what it boils down to Or at least like a cash car.
I want to look at the book, right? But I'm not brave enough to actually sell drugs. I don't think you should sell those. I don't want to have a good job Yeah, so But I would you say what you trying to get some bus?
Detroit glasses, oh, yeah, I thought of a cardiac They are but they're the buff car but the lino's whatever they are But Cartier do they make buffs? Okay, it's bust the style or bust you know the Cartier is makes the style of the last referred to as the bus. Okay, so I was I type the Product and the bus. They could you definitely know I go go buff buff glasses and then like it auto and put Detroit Cardiers oh actually call him cuz he's buffed the horns for the For the size and shit Yeah, right you look like a nigga who makes money selling drugs, but like you don't want to look like it like you I put it on a cosmo clothes like nigga Hey, but nigga that is like if like that's a hell of a that's a quick fashion upgrade like for the year if you come out with The ozippic buff product combo Hey boy.
Yeah, and like I said if I lose the way I'm gonna get my nose piercing cut my hair down so So basically you want to like a student And I don't have with those rings It's given bull-dagger Boy You Evaluate You the pastor would say and they sang a helmet went out and he had like some other study him and you could just like walk straight out like you got to do all these handshakes and fellowship announced so it's gonna be sweet because it was like okay we almost did we probably got about two moments in it that way instantly like changed the whole dynamic of everything so I know just something I thought about as we were like having a little internal debate without respect. Without respect so there's been a lot of crime going on and you know pretty much everywhere like it's not in just Chicago as people want to make it seem it's not just in the war it's not just in the lake it's everywhere and you know I was a lot of talk radio and you know like there's something more podcast I said but just you know news and shit oh like why they think that all this violence is happening and what we should do with the fight crime but I think for a lot of these kids like it's too late I know that's what I feel but like once you get to a certain age I feel like it's like the most fuckers up and I've come to the conclusion that the reason why there's so much crime is because these young boys grow up here and they mama fucking and when you hear your mama fucking that has an adverse effect on your mental stability because you can't do that about it and it's not like somebody hurt you mama because you know they're not hurt you mama you want to help your mama but you can't because your mama not in trouble it might be in trouble but like good like your boy is on civil rights so until you know and I hate to put this like it's a woman thing but if you're a woman right and I'm sure we have like a product of older crowds I really put this but you should pass this down each one teach one like once you um you know say you have a child and say you're not you should hear your parents fucking at all but if you know your parents are together that's better but if like you're a single mom you're out here dating don't like that you'll sign who you fucking because then he's gonna become next to society and you should have a pop eyes because they run out of chickens with other respect um without respect uh i think it was last week um friends that showed DJ artistic um he made a post he posted something about uh what was it kind of kind of you think it was kind of you and it was i think it was DC Curry that was doing uh doing a stand up like everybody was like losing their fucking money everybody was clapping and laughing just having a great time and his question was like why were the 90s always so hype you know what i'm saying like everybody was just like screaming because it was funny right and he said it was like comedy view Apollo you know all these shows and all these places where people were out there always like over the top excited to be there there's an energy in every single uh performance no matter what it was music comedy wherever and i responded because that was a time and there wasn't just the 90s it wasn't just the 80s the 70s were like that the 60s were like that too where the point of going outside was having fun first and foremost paramount like you when you got ready you didn't even need you didn't really care what you had on you just wanted to be in in order if it's after five okay i gotta put some after five shit on and then go right you didn't need to compete with anybody you didn't need to be the best dressed person there you just needed to be in whatever lane you were supposed to be in to look presentable at whatever place you were going well other than that you're just there to have fun like in your mind before you walked outside it's like kill this week such as a lost a job like shit's fucked up that's all right i'm about this fucking go out and i'm about to have fucking fun tonight somewhere we lost that right everybody's either too cool to go out everybody's either i don't do all of that you know i got on Prada Gucci whatever the fucking is and i can't mess this shit up or i don't want this nigga to see me like that like we're out on a date and i don't want to have too much fucking fun like we're in this mindset now where it's about how we look when we go out as opposed to just having fun one of the ties that bind the people on this podcast is every one of us each one of us on this podcast individually and collectively are really fun people and i don't mean that like oh you're gonna have so much fun when you're with us even though you probably will it's just no matter where we're at the primary goal for each and every one of us is to have fun whether that's out of fucking red lobster whether that's out of concert whether that's at homecoming whether that's in our fucking living room right having fun is just the mindset one temporarily from the time we grew up and secondly that's just the type of people that we grew up around and i think when we start to go out and we start to have fun around our peers we need to sometimes deliberately think about that upbringing and ensure that we have a i want to have first month i want to have fun first mindset you know i'm saying because i saw the clip and i was like damn like we really did used to have a great fucking time and i don't remember the last time i've had a great fucking time unless i was with like-minded people that wanted to think that way so just something to think about you know i'm saying next time you go out you know if you're a type of person where you're like oh that shit was lying that shit was kind of me i don't really have fun at spots like that maybe the problem is you maybe you have bad energy right now you don't have the right mindset when you go out so just something to think about you know i'm saying try to have fun try to be a fun person talking respect oh respect i've been on a college football kick for the past couple of weeks so following everything college football mostly fam u Miami and the teams i was the main team i'm interested in uh the transfer portal opened up on the fitting now this has been the weirdest nasty shit i've seen in many years just from a conceptual standpoint i understand the purpose of the transfer portal is to give college football players more autonomy in terms of how we manage their football players sporting careers um which is fair um the reason they might leave a team is because they might not be getting enough playing time they they're they're getting enough playing time they became a star where they are they want they want a better a better look at the pros um they had a disagreement with the coach they all lady got pregnant they want to get away from her there's so many reasons for these players to make these decisions this for this particular session of the transfer portal um which will be the next 15 days to their 2 000 players currently in the transfer portal across across the country there aren't enough slots for any of these teams to where all these players will find a new place to play at the end of the day college students you're going to college for an education in fact you've been put in position to get a free education for a lot of for a lot of you because you've been granted scholarship this is an advantage that most people would die for you that you're gonna lose most of you will not make it to the pros most of you won't make it to a minor league the european league the g-league the u-s-f-l Canadian league whatever the fuck most you won't because that's how it works it only so many slots and it's only so much talent that it's gonna go there you all are doing yourselves a disservice focus on why you're going to college in the first place and focus on the value that comes out of that I mean I'm I know I'm thinking a fan because so many people left fam there's transfer portal period that were good players but you have to understand and be realistic given the climate of where we are given the fact that di is getting removed from schools and the only people that are really the only investment these colleges are making right now as far as black folks are concerned are the athletics it's not about you getting your education it's about you being a commodity I don't know what's gonna here maybe some i'm gonna hear something you got to do what you have to make the right decisions to help your own career in a way that benefits your future and your family this ain't it making rash decisions based off emotions and based off of a moment can ruin your life and it's something that you don't learn until you get older and that's the sad part about it but I'm seeing all these kids make these decisions and it just concerns me for your futures because this infrastructure has been put in place in this way and it's been designed this way for a reason it's to make sure that players are more of a commodity than actual individuals who are trying to better their lives through a college education so be mindful of that get you some og's get you some grown focusing on life to give you some guidance and hopefully you make the best decisions for yourself with all due respect
