I interviewed two of my great friends who are ready to make their marks in the sports industry. Peyton Lodge is an incoming basketball and baseball player at Emerson College, majoring in journalism, and Rex Kaplan is a former high school baseball player and incoming Sports Business Major at the University of Oregon. We talked at length about the new wave of athlete-driven media, with players such as Draymond Green and JJ Redick leading the way, as well as the impact that they have made on sports television as a whole.
