BC Eagles Rebuild After Rough 2025 | Syracuse Orangemen Football News

Boston College’s 2025 season was a disaster—ending 2-10 with just one conference win, a gut-wrenching victory over Syracuse in their final game. They ranked near the bottom nationally in both offense and defense, never managing a 200-yard rushing game. This year, head coach Bill O’Brien is overhauling the roster with 28 transfers and 24 freshmen, including new QB Mason Mackenzie from Saginaw Valley State. The backfield gets Evan Dickens, a Liberty transfer, targeting returning WRs Dawson Pough and Jaedn Skeete. Defense is completely rebuilt, with linebackers from Notre Dame, Washington State, and Georgia. The only continuity? Star safety KP Price, who led the ACC in solo tackles and interceptions last year. Despite all the new blood, expectations remain bleak—most predict another ACC cellar finish, and if Syracuse’s QB situation clicks, expect a 27-10 Orange rout.
