In the latest episode of the “Best Coast Boys” podcast, hosts Landon McCool and the Dallas Morning News’ John Owning review the Dallas Cowboys in their dominating victory over the Philadelphia Eagles along with the Michael Bennett trade. The “Best Coast Boys” podcast is a Cowboys-centric podcast that will delve into many other topics. Whether it is the NFL, Cowboys, movies, music, comics, food or Mixed Martial Arts, nothing is off limits on the “Best Coast Boys” podcast. After the pleasantries, the guys catch up on all the latest injuries news and notes surrounding the Cowboys roster. After that, Landon and John dive into their review of the Cowboys (both offense and defense) vs the Eagles. The guys then give a position-by-position review, starting on the OL. Landon starts been heaping praise on La’el Collins and Tyron Smith for their performances against Philadelphia while injured. John gives praise to Zack Martin play, as he shut down Fletcher Cox. The guys then moved to WR/TE, where they discussed Jason Witten’s savviness and Dalton Schultz blocking ability. The guys also touch on Dak Prescott’s performance while also breaking down Amari Cooper’s impressive ability to run a slug route. On the defensive side of the ball, the guys discuss the bounce-back performance from the Cowboys defensive line. John dunks on the DeMarcus Lawrence haters while Landon discusses Maliek Collins’ improvement against the run. The guys then discuss the performances of the linebackers, giving specific praise to Sean Lee for, quite possibly, his best performance of the season. John also takes you inside Xavier Woods’ INT by breaking down his responsibilities and the coverage. To finish the show, the guys breakdown the Michael Bennett trade and why it was a home run for the Cowboys front office. The “Best Coast Boys” podcast will return next week. Join us!
