1999 saw the release of this absolute gem, starring Richard Farnsworth and directed by David Lynch. The Straight Story is the biographical tale of Alvin Straight and his journey to meet and reconcile with his older brother who lives two states across the USA.The difficulty for Alvin.... he can't drive and has failing health to contend with.
