Matthew 16:15-16 There are times God speaks to an individual and there are also times He speaks to a group of people (congregation) that is, God speaks to us privately and publicly. From our Bible text, the book of Matthew chapter 16,  we read that Jesus said unto them; the word them is a plural term which means that Jesus was speaking to more than one person, He was speaking to His twelve disciples. But, only Simon Peter gave a good, acceptable, and perfect response to this question of Jesus among twelve. This is a case we must not also overlook. Only 1 out of 12 means there is something about the 1 that was either missing or deficient in the 11.
