Tuesday June 11/24 Good morning everyone Happy Tuesday ❤️ Be Alert There is a lizard that everyone is familiar with called the Chameleon. They have the ability to change their skin colour. They use special skill to communicate with each other, express their moods and camouflage their surroundings. Chameleons have crests or horns on the backs of their skull, long, sticky tongues, and uniquely-shaped feet. Many Chameleon species also have a prehensile tail, which can be wrapped around branches to aid them in climbing. The Chameleon, in others eyes will be seen as a lizard who likes to fit in with its their surroundings. It was Paul who reminded us to not be conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing our minds. We live in a society where everything looks good and many people plow around with feel good messages and exciting words. But the Lord encourages us to exercise discernment inorder to know those wolves in sheep clothing. The enemy is like a roaming lion going to and fro seeking whom he may devour. The enemy seek out the vulnerable. Strike the vulnerable and once they give in, they become like the enemy's puppet. Let me draw your attention to another animal the Zebra. From a far off all the stripes on their bodies looks the same. However when you spend time with them, you will see the uniqueness in their stripes. Let us be alert in this season so we do not become deceived by the enemy's tricks to wound us. Not everything look or sound good means they are what it is. The word of God tells us to believe not every spirit but try every spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know the spirit of God. Every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come, and even now already is it in the world. 1John 4:1-3. God has given us discernment and so we ought to use it. Be strong in the Lord. Don't jump at first try because a trap might be underneath those things presenting to be good. Have a wonderful day 😊
