Be An Epicenter - Why Kids Matter

Pastor Shawn's topic for today is "Why Kids Matter." In today's culture the value and importance of children is declining. When a society determines that children are disposable before they are born, that same society also diminishes the value of children who are fortunate enough to be born. Kids are often left to fend for themselves even in such basic needs as safety, food and housing. Education has sometimes become a battlefield where morals, money and self-interest all collide. Technology becomes a substitute for parenting as entertainment and distractions are easily found. Yet God's Word clearly defines that children are a gift from Him and that we are to protect, provide and teach our children the values that God has passed down through the generations.
