I’m going to be honest. By nature, I still worry about things. Over the years, I’ve worked on how I manage the strong urge to worry. In intense moments of angst, I am calmed by advice from my dad.  Often, he’s said to me “Be anxious for nothing”.  Like most incredible advice from dad, its biblically rooted. Philippians 4: 6-9 reads: 6.Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7. and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ. 8. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things. 9. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me-put it into practice.
