Be Careful What you Say

from Lightly Salted · host entwamessage

The tongue is a powerful tool if used correctly, however, it can ruin relationships if miss used.   It is so easy to stick your foot in your mouth if you are not filtering the words that fly out.  The words that we speak indicate what is in our hearts.  Maybe the problem isn't our mouth, but the condition of our hearts.   Also, make sure to not stifle encouraging, uplifting and comforting words that bring life and help others. Choose your words wisely!

History in the Bible Garry Stevens A guide to the history presented in the Bible, for people of all faiths and backgrounds, presented by an independent podcaster, and biblical studies buff. I explore the religion of ancient Israel, the beginnings of Christianity, then finally the evolution of the heirs of Abraham to the year 200. I discuss every single book in every Bible (there are more than you think!). Lightly garnished with a dash of drollery, a soupçon of scrutiny, and not one ounce of objectivity. Not one ounce! The main narrative concluded in January 2024. But I continue to publish Afterlife shows. Bible Every Day with Joanna Black bible-every-day.org Bible Every Day with Joanna Black (bible-every-day.org) is an audio Bible podcast which aims to take people day by day through the Bible in one year. We believe that reading through the entire Bible over time is the best way to understand the fullness of God and our relationship with Him. Through reading it you will see general themes emerge about God’s nature and begin to see Him as He really is and the relationship that you are meant to have with Him through His son Jesus. Joanna has enjoyed reading books to her family for many years. Her family and friends encouraged her to record this podcast. Her voice is pleasing and lightly animated. We believe it will be helpful in your journey through God’s Word. In 2022 Joanna completed a one year reading trial through the Bible and received a lot of positive feedback and experience. In 2023 she hopes to find many more people to join in with her. Bible Every Day with Joanna Black is a production of Sweet Communion Music and Free And Light Seek Well There is a disconnect in the world right now between the life we have and the life we want. Jesus called it - “life to the full” and we believe that it's the life we are all meant to live. We see this disconnect play out everywhere we look… in our jobs, our marriages, our families and especially our faith. The truth is, that for most of us, life doesn’t feel very full. We want to help you change that! Join us every month as we unpack the spiritual practices Jesus taught and what it means to live in rhythm with Jesus; freely and lightly.
