“Send Coach John a message”I found a post from Ball is Psych (@BallisPsych) that is so true for all of us, not just athletes. The story is connected to Michael Jordan, one of the best basketball players ever to play the game.  It starts out with the thought that “ the easier you are to lead, the further you will go.”  We all need to realize that if we are open to improving, we can go places. That improvement can come from a few different sources. Outside coaching is something that sure does help in all areas of life. We can only go so far if we are always thinking that we know everything. Being humble, learning to listen, and being open to learning, that all helps us to go farther. It’s best said at the end of this story - “To go far, be easy to lead. Don’t just tolerate coaching, welcome it, embrace it, and be grateful for the opportunity to grow.” I know I need it in so many areas and I am open to getting better for sure.
