"Be Courageous!" by Kai-Anne Clews

from Original Christian Poetry · host Kai-Anne Clews

Today I saw a video of Pope Francis, Talking to a young woman sharing testimony That she triumphed over bullying, She persevered through adversity. She said she joined a choir, And now so loves to sing Pope Francis listened closely, And did a special thing. He asked her if she would sing for him, And smiled all as he listened, I wept as she sang for him, And I thought of my Lord Jesus arisen. My Jesus bless this gentle Pope, This father who teaches This father who reaches, His gentle hand to so many, This good father who preaches. God bless his warmth and kindness, God bless this gentle caring – God bless this gentle heart, That seems never to tire of sharing. See him safely into your kingdom, Answer, please, his loving prayers, That he’s prayed for all humanity, For people everywhere. Hear my prayer for him again, Feel my soul rejoice as I say Amen. Amen
