Be curious about Him

We have so many things or people competing for our attention such as family, friends, hobbies, passions, our vices, work social media, streaming, tv, and movies etc. There is always something that is quietly or loudly calling our name but in the mist of all this How is your prayer life? How is your study life? We will always have something or someone who needs us but have you ever though about God needing you?Over the years I begin to pray, "Lord, give me a thirst for you and your word." "Lord I want to know you differently." As noticed the more I prayed these prayers in various forms I begin to feeling the Holy Spirit pulling at my heart. I was curious about Him. I wanted to go beyond what I was taught or what what I heard. I wanted to know Him and His word for myself. There is power in His word that even God himself magnifies it. Psalms 138:2 I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.His word shows us His character and His heart, we begin to discovery the different names of God, we discovery His personality , we discover Him, Be curious about Him and discover your Heavenly Father. Hosea 4;6My people are being destroyed because they don’t know me. Since you priests refuse to know me, I refuse to recognize you as my priests. Since you have forgotten the laws of your God, I will forget to bless your children.
