I need to keep up with things. Last Friday, there was a concert in Safety harbor with Julie Black. She does blues. And it was outside by what used to be the pier before the hurricane blew the pier away.
And I should have gone, and I just. I gotta stay up on these things. Hi, everyone. Welcome to the Daily Grateful.
I'm Michael Cross, and guess what happens in less than a week. Oh, God, I'm so happy. The election will be over. The presidential election will be over.
Let's talk about that a little bit, but only a little bit, because, you know, It seems like this presidential election cycle has been going on for years, and I guess it has, but it just seems to have been going on forever and ever and ever. And we had two people that were running, and all of a sudden one left, and then there was another person. And then. I want to talk about Grant Cardone.
I want to talk about Grant Cardone. I'm not saying who he's backing, but I saw him on a video where he was at a. At a rally. I used to love Grant Cardone.
As a matter of fact, Grant Cardone. If you don't know who he is, look him up. He's cool. He's a really cool guy.
I've. I've just. There used to be something called Blab, and if you don't know what that is, look it up. It was cool while it lasted.
It just didn't last long. But experts. I did my gardening show on Blab. I would simulcast my gardening show on Blab so people could see me in video.
And I would get people on Blab coming into my video and asking me gardening questions. It was cool. Well, one night, Grant Cardone was on there answering business questions. And the guy's a genius.
And I, you know, signed. I put on a little thing. I'd like to talk to him. He said, I gotta go.
I gotta leave. It's okay. I'm not gonna talk. Oh, got this guy, Michael Cross.
Let's bring him up. He brings me up and my guy, he spent 30 minutes with me on black. 30 minutes. He had to go.
He had places to go, things to do. What a wonderful guy. Then, I don't know, several months later. Oh, no.
Years later. A couple years later, I'm in downtown Clearwater at a place called One Stop Shop, where I go to get Tim Tams for my son. And I'm looking for Tem Tams, and there is Grant Cardone right there in front of me. And I said, grant Cardone.
He goes, you look very familiar. We were on black. He remembered. I was so impressed.
All right. He was on television and there was. There was this guy on television and he looked horrible. He had this God awful look on his face, which I never saw from Grant Cardone.
Everything. Grant Cardone is always smiles and positive and happy and this guy is being mean and nasty and totally unposited. It was Grant Cardone because of who he was supporting for president. I don't care about that.
Like I care about that. This presidential election has turned somebody like Grant Cardone into somebody I didn't even recognize. I got an autograph copy of his book. I want to give it back to him.
I'm so disappointed. Just. Anyway, in less than a week, it's all going to be done. And according to.
I asked ChatGPT to give me, what, seven reasons why we should be happy that this is going to be done. And I'm not going to read all of them to you. But, you know, the end of the constant ads. You see an ad for one person saying all these terrible things about the other person, then you see an ad about the other person from the other person saying, you know, and it just goes on and on and on.
And I'm tired. Especially in the congressional races. Oh, the congressional races are giving me a thrombo. They're driving me crazy.
You can't talk to friends anymore about politics because everybody is so passionate. I'm not. I just want to listen to music. I want to listen to.
I want to listen to music. That's what I want to do. I. I just.
That's what I want to do. But there'll be less decisiveness, I hope. I certainly hope. Oh, and then this other thing that's happening.
Oh, are you getting. Who came up with texting and then who decided that texting was a good idea? I get texts. I get text.
I'm an equal opportunity text. Reciprocate. I get texts from the Republicans, lots of them. I get texts from the Democrats, lots of them.
All of them want me to give them money so that they can get the other person out of office. I always push the stop. I type in stop, which means they just keep coming. Less stress from the news.
Yeah. I want to look at the news and see happy stories, see inspirational stories about people helping people and all of that. That's what I want to see. I saw a story tonight on the news, on the NBC nightly news about Saginaw, Michigan.
I've been to Saginaw, Michigan. It is a beautiful, wonderful town. And the people are just really nice. And the Republicans and the Democrats all down the street, one has, you know, one side and the other has the other.
But when you talk to them, they're all friends, you know, why can't they be nationwide? They're all friends, you know, they ask this one woman, who are you voting for? And he says. And they ask the other person, oh, would you help that person go vote, knowing that she's going to vote for the nd?
Of course I would. Then ask the other person, of course I would. We're friends. This is what friends do.
I'll be so glad to get back into that. And then social media. Oh, God, I'm so. I just don't even want to go on Facebook anymore.
I just, you know, it is. And TikTok, I don't even understand TikTok anymore. I love TikTok. I used to.
I have a TikTok channel podcaster Michael. And then hopefully all of our stinking politicians will actually start doing their jobs and start governing once the election is over. I can only, only hope. And there'll be time for people to be positive and we'll start rebuilding and all this hate's gonna go away.
And I'm sure I'm gonna forgive Grant Cardone, but damn it, I'm not mad. I'm disappointed in him. Why did he. Why was he so.
I don't. Like I said, you know, familiar. Who the hell is that? And I listen.
I listen to the voice. I said, that sounds like Grant Cardone. I never heard Grant Cardone say a negative thing about anything. He's just sitting there ranting.
And it was hateful and it was mean spirited and it was. Grant, come back to us. I miss you. Stop that.
That's all I got. Tomorrow's Halloween. That'll be fun. See you.
