Individually and collectively we have some uncomfortable truths that we need to recognize and acknowledge about ourselves. At one point, I was carrying anger. I was carrying resentment. I was carrying bitterness. I was sabotaging myself because I was not carrying myself in a manner that was consistent with who I claimed and wanted to be. The day that I was honest with myself, and owned my part of that toxic dynamic was the day my transformation began. I asked God to help me love those people, you know, the ones I didn’t love. It didn’t take long. The anger and bitterness went away. I rose above the pettiness- particularly my own. I eventually reached every goal I had been blocking myself from reaching. But first, I had to be honest with myself. I’m Horace McMillon. This is 60 Seconds of Hope.
