“Be Intentional In Love”

On this episode, we talk about being intentional while being in love. Sometimes we can get too comfortable while being in love. It’s important to be mindful of your partner and their feelings. It’s important to do things that set you up for success in your relationship. I journaling each night before bed writing down three things I love about my partner is a great way for us to stay mindful and to keep the relationship fresh. It also helps me to appreciate each other even more. Being married is not a space you want to get lazy in. Keeping the vibrations high and keeping the intimacy, hot or romantic, is key in any successful relationship. We all like to be listened to and appreciated. I had to do some research on how to become more intentional while being in love which is being intentional. Mrs. Garrett and I speak openly about our relationship because transparency works for us. Being intentional is setting the relationship up for success every day. We want our love to continue to grow and so we put the time and effort in far beyond gifts and trips. Those are great too but we have found that it’s truly the small steps we take that get us the big results we both desire.
