KRISHNAN is an Advocate with over 14 years of experience in the areas of commercial and employment law, cross-border contracts, commercial litigation & arbitration, negotiations and strategies for dispute resolution/ dispute avoidance. Jenna graduated with high honours from Government Law College, Mumbai and read her Masters in law at Columbia Law School, New York City, where she was awarded the academic honour of Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and nominated for the Parker School Certificate for excellence in international law; Before pursuing her master's, Jenna worked with Hon’ble (Retd) Mr. Justice B N Srikrishna, assisting His Lordship in arbitration matters and as a litigator in the Bombay High Court. Soon after her return to India, Jenna joined a boutique management consulting company as their India Legal Counsel. In her nine-year tenure, Jenna rose to the position of Group Legal Counsel – Issues & Dispute Resolution. Her diverse experience as a litigator, litigant, and legal counsel revealed the severe consequences individuals face due to being under-informed about the law, leading to sub-optimal decisions in business & life Thus, in April 2022, Jenna launched ‘The Daily Lawyer’ (TDL)– a platform that serves as a dynamic bridge between practitioners and the people, striving to increase legal awareness while amplifying the voices of lawyers to broadcast their person and practice worldwide. This is done through TDL’s social media channels, corporate training, & law courses.
