Dear Mom, I'm Gay! The Musical Synopsis- Dan Sarkisian grew up in an evangelical home in a small town in Michigan. He moves to New York City to study fashion design, but quickly finds he has even more to learn about himself. Dan begins to explore his identity and sexuality. He slowly learns to embrace who he truly is, a part of himself that he has always suppressed. Dan falls in love with himself and another man.
