Be still trusting in the LORD, our refuge!

from English Service - WGM Church

3-22-2020 Weekly Message Meditation of the week: Psalms 91:1-16 Text: Psalm 46:1-11 Word Title: Be still trusting in the LORD , our refuge!         In the songs sung for the descendants of Korah, the Holy Spirit foretold of them who would be against the Lord Jesus Christ, who is greater than Moses. The Bible testifies of the judgments received by the group of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram who rebelled against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness: ” And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the LORD hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind. 29If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the LORD hath not sent me. 30But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD. 31And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them: 32And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods. 33They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation. “(Nu 16: 28-33)            In this age, the Jews who do not believe in Jesus shall enter into the Great Tribulation of the seventy-seventh week that is the final seven years) prophesied through prophet Daniel. They shall be persecuted severely under the Antichrist; however, God shall be their refuge and helper. Apostle John testified of them seeing that they shall be led by God unto their refuge: :  ” And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. 14And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.“(Rev. 12:13-14)          God, who judged the descendants of Korah, who had opposed Moses and Aaron in the  in the wilderness speaks of the protection for the children of Israel during the Great Tribulation that will come to pass after the church of God that is the bride of Christ is traslated to heaven: ” Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. ” (Psalm 46: 2-3)          Apostle John previewed and witnessed of  the scene prophesied in Psalm 46:2-3  in the Holy Spirit: ” And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. 18And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. 19And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. 20And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. ”(Rev. 16: 17-20)          Through the prophet Isaiah, God prophesied about what would happen in the days of the Great Tribulation: ” The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly. 20The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again. 21And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth. “(Isaiah 24: 19-21)           Jesus also spoke of the things that would happen in the days of the Great Tribulation: ” And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.  ” Luke 21: 25-28)           In addition, the psalmist testified of the city of Jerusalem when the temple  is built in Jerusalem in the Millennium of Christ: ”   There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. 5God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.” (Psalm 46: 4-5)             The prophet Ezekiel also prophesied in details in the chapters 40-46 of the temple to be built in Jerusalem during the Millennium period, and prophesied that living water would flow from it:  ” Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar.…. And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh.“(EZ 47:1,9)             Apostle John witnessed of the river of living water flowing in the new Jerusalem in heaven: ” And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. ” Revelation 22: 1)           No matter how the nations are raging and the nations are shaking, but once God speaks, the earth shall be melt. In addition, the Bride of Christ, the church of God, to which we belong, shall be lifted up to the New Jerusalem in heaven before the Great Tribulation, when the Lord Jesus make  a loud voice like  trumpet saying, “Come up hither!” Since the Lord God of hosts is still with us, we are protected until that day in him that is our refuge. In addition, Jews and Gentiles who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ during the Great Tribulation shall be protected in the same refuge of God of Jacob.          When the Lord come back again to judge all nations, he will end the war to the ends of the earth and destroy all the weapons made by them. Therefore, the Lord Jesus Christ, the God of Jacob speaks clearly to the Church of the Bride of Christ and to all Jews and Gentiles who believe in Him in the Great Tribulation: ” Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. ” (Psalm 46:10)           That’s right! The Lord Jesus, our God is telling all those who believe in Him to remain still, looking forward to the day when He will be exalted in all the earth alone as soon as He establishes His Kingdom. Therefore, we should always  rejoice, and pray without ceasing, and give thanks to God thank of all things, proclaiming, ” The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.  “ Amen! Hallelujah!
