Be The Bridge 101- Training Christians to Decenter Whiteness

Thoroughly Equipped Season 2 Episode 36 Latasha Morrison made the New York Times Best Seller list for her book Be The Bridge. While the book informs Christians of the importance of racial reconciliation, it&#8217;s also the gateway into her training program/ministry of the same name. To become a Bridge Builder, we are told to follow the Be the Bridge Face Book group. In signing up for the group ALL members are required to silently observe the conversation in the group and do the REQUIRED reading of the guides before commenting and entering into the conversation. Today I will present to you their first required reading for white people titled Be the Bridge 101: Foundational Principals Every White Bridge Builder Needs to Know and the first 2 tenants of Whiteness, white people must learn about so they can start leveraging their whiteness; identify their white heritage, divest themselves of their pride, privilege, &amp; fragility, and fight against white supremacy as ani-racists.
