Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes. INSPIRATION: "Come and follow," was Jesus' command with a promise, "And I will transform you into men." The onus is on you first to determine if you really need transformation, and then you determine the extent to your followership. Too many of us are so fixed in our ways, complacent about growth, upscaling and equipping ourselves with the requisite tool to enable us outperform our current output. Well, it's a choice only you can make for yourself but the invitation command is clear. Make your choice now! Imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you will only take you as far as the ideals and cultural opinions can prescribe. You've to be radical enough to drive the change that would stand you out. Your best bet is to be inwardly transformed so that this new mindset begins to control and influence your outward delivery. Those who've made very remarkable difference in their field of operation that distinguished them from the rest made a private choice to be transformed. That radical decision pivoted them to the limelight. You too can! What's the effect of a transformed mind? It empowers you to be discerning, not only of God's will but the best decisions to make from varying choices. It helps you to live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect life. No doubt, everyone desires this outcome but the passcode to experiencing it is to be transformed! If you choose to remain the way you are, bid goodbye to any dreams of having a good life that results from having a transformed and urbane mindset. Note that no one can force transformation on you once you mind is closed to adapting new learning. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: "...as He is, so are we in this world." Ponder seriously on this. Are you really like Christ? If you aren't, what would it cost you to "Come to Him and just follow" so you can be like Him? Transformation is a choice you must make once you realise you need to be more! PRAYER: Dear Lord, please transform me from within until it reflects in my outward. Make my mind and spirit to experience the kind of transformation that comes from following you, from being open to new but positive learning, in Jesus name.
