Be You!

from The Work On Purpose Podcast · host Kara-Sue Sweeney

This issue we have of pretending to be something we're not, is not partial to teens or young adults. As humans we all have this need for belonging. But to belong doesn't mean you need to lose yourself. In fact, true belonging is when you're accepted and have a sense of belonging within a certain group, for EXACTLY who you are, nothing more, nothing less. I once read a book by Sir Ken Robinson, called The Element. It was filled with stories about how people embraced their own uniqueness and how it's exactly what they were born to do and what the world needed. So what about you? Are you going to Be You? Feel free to send me a note letting me know how you plan embrace your own uniqueness and live your most authenthic self. Also, go ahead and send along any issues or topics you'd like me to discuss in future episodes. You can reach me directly at [email protected] or at any of the social platforms listed below.
