Celebrating summer, Megan and Eric discuss the classic teen beach movie from 1965. Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello and a cast of many guest stars (Paul Lynde, Don Rickles, Buster Keaton, and introducing Linda Evans) experience hard G-rated fun on the beach when a recording star show up with a pair of skydivers. A dumb guy falls in love with a mermaid. A motorcycle gang haplessly tries to kidnap Linda Evans. A love triangle is easily resolved. Men feed each other hot dogs cooked in a fireplace. A psycho killer kidnaps the already kidnapped Linda Evans and ties her to a log in the sawmill. Frankie and Anette go skydiving against a front-projection screen... Everything happens, yet, nothing happens. They don't even play bingo except during the opening credits.
