The Open Run With Will Strickland Episode 89 - Bean Kobe. Wall $t. tell some tales about The Late Great… relays some memories, be them good or not so good. Was Kobe Tom Brady? What exactly did Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney, disguised as Michael Jackson and Bruce Springsteen, have to do with the man The GOAT Earvin “Magic” Johnson dubbed The Greatest Laker Ever? And though he’s been gone for over two and a half years, Kobe somehow organically showed up with daughter Gianna at Full Court 21 Canada’s Edmonton stop this summer. The word “amazing” infects Wall $t. vocabulary banks as we ponder why it happened, much like Dennis Rodman, global ambassador for peace? Happy Earthday shouts go to a man who was seemingly not of this earth and Knowledge Reign Supreme Over Nearly Everyone and, somehow, a story about a 1962 John Ford movie makes its way into the discussion as well. The Hashtag #HWSBN stokes a childhood memory of Wall $t.'s first NBA interactions on television as a wee lad whilst also remembering there’s no place like home, where you can get the News, Views and Truths that you choose on the NBA and beyond: The Open Run With Will Strickland.
